  1. KBOS in 1999-00 got their first trace 1/12. Close to 25 inches in the next 30 days then done. Weirdest of seasons. A furious month of cold and snow as an island in a sea of warmth
  2. Those spikes as long as they keep happening is a good cold seeder in Canada which is helpful.
  3. Yes. But there’s been no evidence of more than a few day stay. It seems to me in a somewhat transient pattern we have to hang onto our hats and see how it settles in mid December.
  4. We’re leaving leaves ver the winter in some of the flower areas abutting there woods. Everything else goes Saturday-we instructed the crew to not show up before 11. Today the town came down the street and sucked up all the leaves on the side of the road. My dog is going to be disappointed.
  5. Thank goodness for the NAO block but honestly that will also need help to persist with that Pacific. But I've seen way worse in the Pacific so we'll see.
  6. Sorry for the banter but I’m looking for an oral surgeon in BTV area. Our daughter needs to get her impacted wisdom teeth out. Feel free to pm me. TYIA.
  7. Yes and no. We’ve had days and days of wet dank but lately sunnier. Although on most of the sunny days here there has been hours of cloudiness. But yes normally November is darker and more depressing but as winter nears excitement builds.
  8. Fir the most part November has been Novembery so far.
  9. I think your point is it happens and this time so far it’s not which is good!
  10. My wife is in southern NH today and reports occasional snow.
  11. Those aren’t that different. In amplitude yes but the idea is similar to me. Further out leads tend to dampen amplitude so it’s not surprising that d15 is more amplified vs d19.
  12. The pattern has reminded me of that year the entire autumn. Let’s keep it going!
  13. Yes. Also buried parts of upstate NY. A week later the anafrontal 3-6 showed up and we were off the races until the mid January melt down before resuming 2 weeks later.
  14. The pattern has changed. We have stepped down and continue to do so. By December we’ll be “if this weenie’s rockin’ don’t come a knockin’”
  15. EPS says fire up the bus. December may produce nicely in the first half.
  16. Eps appears fun to end November and begin December.
  17. As of now, I imagine I’m arriving around 3ish-probably stay till 5-6.
  18. Or a plow on his truck. That’s what usually happens here at least when I’ve had the service in the past.
  19. If I have to upgrade to a gas powered snow blower I’m hiring a service. Pain in the ass and not to mention pollution. How would you like to live next door to the guy running his blower on your only day off of the week?
  20. What did you get? I got one last year-cordless rechargeable and it works fine but I’m an idiot and didn’t get self propelled. Thinking of buying one and selling the last years purchase on Craig’s list.
  21. My daughter is coming home Saturday so I’ll probably be a short stay. I’m kind of swearing off alcohol these days but will toast with a coffee and hoping mpm is there with one too!
  22. It’s coming! Winter on the doorstep up north and not that far behind in the rest of New England
