  1. Just verified by going outside. Still light snow-no sleet yet but hearing from Will and bostonwx it’s gotta be on the doorstep. Down to 33.
  2. I’ll be shocked if we don’t have a significant majority winter qpf event sometime in the next 2 weeks.
  3. Steady snow, temperature down to 34....starting to whiten the ground finally.
  4. Same here. Now it’s light again so it goes to sleet or drizzle until a burst comes and it’s snow.
  5. We were hoping our daughter would leave tonight but she was exhausted. Hopefully she gets up early enough tomorrow. Heading out of Burlington to Boston should be ok is she’s out by 10–11 it seems.
  6. Euro and to a lesser extent eps suggests 50+ is on the table. All the ensembles do seem to mitigate the RNA starting in about a week to 10 days which should be helpful.
  7. Yeah you pretty much have no choice in that situation. I haven’t cut a tree down in a long time-ceded to the aborists.
  8. NAM hinting at a slow exit with some good bye snows for eastern pike region
  9. Toss MJO, it’s coloring your perception. I haven’t looked but is it a weak wave or strong. That makes a big difference vis a vis influence. I’ve seen nao time and again give us AOA normal temperatures. Nothing exists in a vacuum.
  10. I’m out- have a big time long work up tomorrow-need to be there by 7:45AM.
  11. Yeah but a definite improvement overall. Still minor verbatim but I think an ivt trof is often one of the ways the models start to resolve these and you get a legit hit in later runs.
  12. Those lows are in good position but the dynamics don’t work and they actually verbatim minor out. Nao is saving the region from melting.
  13. Some more progress towards something good next week. We trend.
  14. Yeah that pretty much matches my concept. I still have a 22 year old at 75 and was young for my age but no sugar coating 75 no matter what......but hey-glad to be alive!
  15. Trust me and hopefully you’ll find out. You’re young into your early 40s. Middle age up to 65, young old to 70. Old thereafter. Being 75 I feel qualified to make those markers but perhaps the other older guys can comment from their own experiences.
  16. I could get used to winter days in the 50s+. Walked with some friends-good day!
  17. Speaking for myself. I’m still on the process of trying to figure out what happened to me the night of 12/4. I have a 3 hour testing scheduled early Friday morning. Depending on the results I’ll be less cautious or over cautious. An inch or 2 of snow is more difficult to drive on sometimes vs higher amounts. Let’s see what happens and how this event looks Friday.
  18. See my edited post which I think you quoted before the edit. Heck, even honoring Willie McCovey at Dodger Stadium was rained out due to a tropical storm in August .
