  1. Hard to conjure 2022. I remember as a young boy thinking about 2000 and realizing I'd be in my 50s....thinking oh man-I'll be so old! Now it's 22 years later and I'm 75 and glad to be alive! Bruce in his heyday sang...said it so well..... "For the ones who had a notion-a notion deep inside that it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive"
  2. These posts...the entire forum is drunk....Happy New Year!
  3. So.....our daughter just tested positive-has been mildly ill and now home (sadly not able to hang out with her bf and friends for NYE). So to me this is a good test of the boosters which my wife got about 2-3 weeks ago and me 2 months ago ( driven by my plan on being part of a 6500 person meeting in person in Boston in November). I’ve been busy talking our daughter off the ledge that if I get it I am not going to die and my concern was 1000x higher when I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke 4 weeks ago. Stay safe everyone and Happy New Year ! May 2022 fulfill all of your weenie snow dreams!
  4. So sorry to see this Don! My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
  5. Will and Scott giving me reasons to look!
  6. We’ve had a lot of years with even warmer starts and warm falls but in years the pattern shifted cold the SSTs responded quickly. We also have had many snow events in early winter with infernal SSTs. As usual early in the season the vector is everything for the coast.
  7. Yeah gfs still playing frontsie backsie.
  8. Nothing says wonderful like a dank dark drizzly day in the 30s…

  11. The people bashing Cosgrove haven’t been following him the past few years….or they’re bitter for some reason.
  12. LC has been pretty strong the past few years. I anticipate delaying the cold until mid month at the earliest. Hopefully I’m wrong but it’s starting to line up that way.
  13. Welcome yes and as you allude-necessary. I’m willing to roll the dice with that look....we’d provably have better chances of big ticket snows vs the current pattern.
  14. Euro op with 486 thickness on the southern shore of James Bay. Didn’t the weeklies snow this maybe a week or 2 ago?
  15. It would seem if he’s positive and his dad is high risk maybe that would be a visit delayed?
  16. GEFS too embarrassed to post beyond d6....

  20. That’s almost worse than being sicker! So you’re waiting till the 3rd? Good luck Ed!
  21. This winter has been hateful for mby. Now it seems we keep kicking the can further. GEFS suggest past 1/7-8. Add 5 days for the inevitable delay and we’re into mid January. I won’t be up for the euro tonight....doctors appts in the morning. Close the shades until mid next week.
