    Newby on this topic. Could great earthquakes slightly alter the earths axis? If so, I’m thinking it would take very little to cause great effect? Thanks

    My winter outlook was mixed. Absolutely excellent ion them 12.5” call for DCA but missed Dec (0 to +1 ) and Feb (-2) temps and overall. Nailed Jan temps with -3 to -5 call. Give it an overall C

    These contests have skilled people. Richmond killed me with my local three the best combined scoring. It’s 4 though Finishing 3rd is an honor amongst such noble prognosticators.

    Daughter just sent video from Frederick which looked like cloud on the ground. Any reports?

    So DCA doing it 7-10 degree variance thing again and let’s discuss recent events. Two nights of very windy where variances were 1-3 degrees. So, the wind homogenizes the air and there is not a big difference. What that has to do with tonight is that without the wind DCA can’t homogenize and/or radiate correctly.. Best guess as to why is that there is an obstruction or hinderance of some form preventing DCA from doing what other observations are able to do.

    Not exactly on spot for 10 in 1 hour but have dropped 9 degrees since 7pm or 90 minutes. 36 currently , 45 at 7.

    21 for a low which missed tying my 3 time record, since 1965, by 1. it’s crawling into the low 40’s and clouds look to hold off until sunset and dews won’t be above 15 by 6pm and winds are still nw so bank on something other than rain at onset
