NHC can tell us that a TS 300 miles east of St Maarten will hit Cape Ciral as a Cat 3 in 7 days snd nail it. Winter models are clueless if the low is going over Norfolk or Pittsburgh 2-3 days out. Time to put an end to it and not purchase nor endorse their cover all bases guesswork

This did indicate a temp problem Those incredible freezing rain totals were so off base. Did Anyone get to 0.3” accumulated? Up here in Frederick it’s still cold and 38F

More icing here than I thought when went to bed at midnight. At 8am had about 1/10th-1/5th” ice on windshield and tree limbs with patches on concrete where full shade. By 11::30am now ice is off cars, still on tree branches and nothing on ground surfaces. 35F
