4-6 hour event. 0.30-0.35 qpf is a good bet for us. I'd go no higher than 12:1 because we might burn a little on rain/mix at the beginning, and temps will be borderline. I'd probably go 3-4" for you. 2-3" for me with my surface temp issues.
I’m reading it’s 4 hour pass thru right over my shed as 0.7. 1.9. 1.5 0.5 so I see now

New England folks would like to have a word with you about model consistency.
Did the go from 18” to 2 in like 12 hours?

I’m catching up for last 2 hours so write first snd come back later. For answers.
if I’m seeing 3 hour panels of .25 minimum and then another close to same and it’s 8-10 hour event then majority of accumulations seem real low? -
Been a while since we’ve had a bonfide circulating clipper move under us. I’m thinking it may not hustle away as quickly as shown.

It's def a bit more amp'd out front on H5...precip orientation is more SW to NE than 12z..there's more/a bit heavier precip on the N and W shield...still waiting on the money panel
If answered already then sorry but for DC proper what is onset and end time?

Saturday and Saturday night look to be a nice wintry period. Reasonably cold. Not like the garbage on Tuesday
But…but…but… well into 40’s on Sat.

3z at the doorstep...not seeing any remarkable changes for us so far
10pm onset is utterly delicious
wrestling is over, night is not over, not sucking down coffee for a 3am onset that’s rain, had dinner with grandchildren earlier, obs thread will be stellar. Could be woody material come crunch time !

Where? PSU's yard? Forecast high for greater DC-Baltimore area is 40 with plenty of sun.
It becomes mostly sunny about 3pm
not much heating there with 2+” everywhere

Other than padding stats a tiny bit, what's the difference? With mid Feb sun and and high temps of 40, 3 inches will disappear just as quickly as 1-2.
Except it falls overnight and never gets above 35 on Saturday
-
Gradually seeing more 2-3 and less 1-2

Clears the area at 15z
So from midnight to 9/10 am averaging .25 to .5”ph during darkness and we get 2.5” to 4.5” total

I told you, I'm always down for that. You me and Zwyts...the old days
We should get like 3 more new to us to join the old big Three. I think Ebbits doesn’t do half price anymore and maybe PSU or Ji has a favored place and some nurturing bonding can occur??

Euro is colder also, snow falls with surface temps of 25-27 for you and me. And the high on Saturday is 33 in Winchester and 31 here. Might actually feel like winter for a minute or two.
So you thinking like 30/31 for say Beltsville during the snow?
