I was probably right behind you. It got wild when the whiteout of wind driven rain hit. It looked blue outside due to the extreme rainfall. It definitely gave me hurricane chase video vibes. The lightning was also wild.

Insanity on 32 near  Ft Meade yesterday at 3.  Sky green and had Midwest tornado look to it, rotating clouds, swirling blinding rain, had to slow to 10 mph , strange noises, easily 50mph winds with higher gusts. After about 10 minutes it eased  up but that’s as bad as I’ve  driven in in 30 years

Man I was running 102-105 heat indexes at this time Monday thru Thursday and now it’s 70.

I’m in that barely moving dark red right on north beltway and north.  Three brilliant lightning striked with instant thunder. 0.75” so far and a 2-2.5”ph rate. No wind and the lightning is the show

Still out but they say somewhere between 4-11 it will be restored.  Kemp Mill and Takoma  Park got hit really hard 

Power out since 5 and tree down on a car with the wires but just 107 total outages  so a small number and we are low priority. Plus it’s a Thursday holiday.  The huge tree on University   about 3 weeks  ago put 900 out and we got prompt attention on that 

Back at Kemp Mill and we got blasted with 55-60mph.  Power out, lots of small to medium branches snd limbs down, Kemp Mill Rd has two trees down 

Does look like another round 2-3 hours from now
