    Low of 45 which is coldest so far. Interior of house dropped to 68.5 and back up to 70 with passive solar effect.

    55 at midnight and that’s lowest for time this season. Thst morning low was coldest also of 48

    Me too. I’m at 414 and it drops to 225. On the patio and open up the table umbrella and it blocks the chilly damp air from falling on me

    Models are worse than 20 years ago in the winter in mid Atlantic largely due to attempting to be too precise and offering up every possible outcome. Many of the indexes don’t work anymore in the changing environment and many newish indexes are still erratic and unproven

    I’ll try and get the pics but our relatives got caught with down power lines, 70 mph gusts, a foot if water in streets and standstill traffic with 2.5” in 30 minutes in Frederick around 6:30 anybody got rain graphics from that?

    He stopped publicizing it. Yes talk a lot still. Winters are screwier than ever.

    More of the same seems likely . Probably not as radical but still just 10-15” stuff and temps +2.

    It did with a new record of 49. pretty rare to have record breaking heat and then cold within 5 weeks in July and August

    IAD record low min of 51 for 8/22 is from 1977 and likely falls

    I think 1982 and 1986 were like this in a 6 day time period with 8/21 the center point

    60.5 at midnight so not quite with a very cool overnight low of 51.

    I might be in the 50’s by midnight for first time since May. 62.5 at 10pm

    69F at 7pm. About 12/13F below typical for time wind chill just around the corner!

    July had 10 of the first 17 days 97 or hotter with none afterward. Did the average high of 92.4 for the month break the records of 2010-12?
