DCA 52-tie. 1877 tough to dislodge IAD 50-record by 5 and 2nd lowest max for any May daily record BWI-51-record Low records for Sunday DCA 35 Bwi 33 IAD 31

38.5 at midnight Dulles 50 on Saturday is its 2nd lowest max ever for month of May.

41.4 at 10:30 winds stoped the temp drop in the wee hours last night but no wind tonight so looks like some records will be set

Temps plummeting, down to 43 and still some gusts to 25 with sustained reduced to 10-15

High here was 50.5 and spent about 20 minutes today at 50, mostly 48-49 . i do an in the direct sun measurement and thought couple times it might get going but highest was 62.4

DCA May be broken at 51 or tied at 52 IAD previous 55 is certainly broken easily,most likely with 50 BWI probably breaks its previous 53 with 51/2 data should be in soon

Dulles has remained below 50 for a high in May on May 1st only, last time in 1966.

Looks like 51 for BWI and DCA a. February 48 for IAD

From 1 to 2 pm Dulles dropped a degree, DCA stayed same, BWI rose a degree. Coldness aloft clouding us up and winds 18 gusting to 30 are combing to overcome sun!

That storm had such odd verticle orientation both with mass and thin area of elongated heavy rain -
Just had heaviest downpour of event. 0.90” total
