  1. Last four runs of the NAM. It's been very consistent.
  2. Very slight step back from 6z but still by far the best model for northern areas.
  3. I know we're too close to the event to worry about what the ensembles show, but the GEFS have definitely been trending weaker and more south over the past four runs.
  4. 12z GFS definitely took a little step back with the snow totals on the northern end and dropped the max stripe in VA a little further south. Not the trend was hoping to see.
  5. Come game time I bet that jack stripe is right over our area. Definitely time for it to continue the north trend.
  6. I really like where we sit right now at 48 hours out. Would not be surprised at all if the jack to ends up in our area. Let's reign this one in.
  7. Ji is now the positive and optimistic one. What kind of bizarro world are we living in lol?
  8. I feel your pain. I was so pumped I couldn't sleep. Got maybe two hours and now at my sons wrestling tournament all day. This smile hasn't come off my face!
  9. Currently in Winchester. Car temp reads a balmy 51° with sunny skies.
  10. GFS advertising the biggest snow of the season out this way. Let's hope it's right. Also just wanted to say #HTTR!!
  11. We really love it there and being able to walk to Napolis is awesome. I fish a good bit and do pretty well on bass and striper. I have a 21ft bass boat that I keep on lift there. Would be happy to take you out sometime and show you a few things.
  12. We have a place over in Bernard's Landing off of Scruggs Rd. I get fuel there at Lumpkins a good bit. Thought it looked familiar! Do you do much fishing?
  13. Beautiful!! I almost made the drive down yesterday to experience my first snow at our place on SML. Would have but our boys had a wrestling tournament tomorrow morning that of course has since been canceled. Enjoy!
  14. I'm loving your observations! We bought a place on the lake last year and have yet to experience a snow down there yet. Enjoy! I bet the fishing would be good today.
  15. Nice moderate snow, ground has whitened.
  16. Calling it at 2" for a total of 3.5" on the week and bringing my season total to 12". That frontogen band up at Harrisburg was fun to watch on radar. If only it had been further south as models had shown until yesterday afternoon.
  17. You'll find a way to 5"+ no doubt. Radar looks pretty promising for you.
  18. Well I tried to stay positive on this one but the writings on the wall. Snow is light now and back edge isn't far off. Eyeballing about 1.5". Oh well still absolutely beautiful out there. Love the night shots on this Android. Goodnight all!
  19. Amen to this. No reason in getting bothered by something not a single one of us have any control over. It's a Friday night and it's going to snow. About to pour my first drink, get in the hot tub, and keep watch for virga lol. Returns are getting close. Looking forward to watching this one unfold. It's a dynamic event and still has potential for a surprise vs what the latest model runs are showing imo.
  20. Was just looking at that as well. Looking juicy for sure.
