  1. Glad to finally see the excitement start to build for this on here. We're getting to the point where we might want the south trend to stop. Hopefully it can continue to juice up a little more up until game time.
  2. We should start a petition to have them change that to "best case"
  3. 2-3" would absolutely be a win considering where we were just 18 hours ago.
  4. If these trends continue, 1-3" might start to look a little conservative for anyone DC north.
  5. Well, we seem to be fairly locked in on a 2-4" event for most here. Loving the overcast skies today as well. There's been zero melting. Snow on mf snow!
  6. I'm excited about the possibility of matching or beating my biggest snow in two years, which is about 3.5" earlier this week. Plus when was the last time we had snow on snow?? The kid's school has already been closed all week, and it's looking like a near lock that it will be tomorrow as well.
  7. On the NAM, surface temps look good for the majority of the storm, although temps approach 32 from about DC south in the later stages as the snow exits. The northern tier never gets above 30. 850's appear fine throughout.
  8. I agree, at least for the northern tier. 3-4" is looking like a solid bet for us at this point imo. Still time for precip amounts to ramp up a little as well.
  9. Not too worried about the GFS being drier as much as the overall trend of the southern movement.
  10. Last three GFS runs. The trend is our friend. Big changes in Kentucky. Maybe that translates here later?
  11. Where's Randy? We need him back on board with this. I think PSU's deb post yesterday might have got in his head. We're back to being a snow town. Snow on snow baby lol
  12. Here's the trend from the past three NAM runs for anyone that doesn't have access to the maps
  13. From my Facebook memory from 8 years ago today
  14. Most guidance is in line now for 2-4" for most of us. Still potential for a little more upside but I think we'd all be happy with that. This has been incrementally improving since last night. Let's hope that continues.
