  1. Boston mets are putting the scenarios on the table. They're all waiting on the Euro though...
  2. So the options are OTS or a HECS? No scrapers?
  3. This does seem to be an all or nothing scenario unfortunately. I would be fine with half the totals on the gfs
  4. Does most of its work here in less than 24 hours too.
  5. I would too but I would take a more widespread 12/20/24. Will work for snow!
  6. Will settle for a moderate event. Bills piling up...
  7. Chief Brody shoveling on Amity...
  8. That would be good here. Not everything is a hecs.
  9. If anything I would say the win guaranteed his exit. He had ONE JOB TODAY and that got f'ed up...
  10. I'm with Will. If this goes bad it's a miss or a graze. Rain isn't going to be a huge issue even here on the coast. Taint? Sure but in this pattern and time of year I don't see it running over BOS.
  11. Potential is good for sure, but we are still a fair amount of time away from this and those crazy totals (particularly for those of us on the coast) can evaporate pretty quickly depending on track and where the front sets up. 48 hours from now if these totals are still shown I'll be much more intrigued...
  12. It could be tanked, or it might just be less. At half those totals I would be pretty happy. If people are taking these maps verbatim then they need to seek professional help.
  13. Local TV Mets are already pimping this.... I really hope this one works out.
  14. Exactly! I couldn't place the year but this winter reminds me of those early 80's winters. Very little snow and high heating bills. As we said back then it was shazbat.
  15. Looks like great black ice pond skating weather. Did that a few times in the 80s.
  16. Triple phaser is not phrase we've heard around these parts in some time... https://tenor.com/view/celebration-dance-happy-gif-5437076982082921783
  17. I think my area has set a record for the number of "Traces" in the last several years.
  18. A lot of it is the CYA thinking of local dpw and highway departments. It's better to apply too much than too little, as the thought goes. Up until the 70s and early 80s salt and sand were not used nearly as much as they are now. Budgets have gone up and people are lot more litigation minded...
  19. Worst traffic since that other disaster in 2007? Will take 3 more hours to lessen
