That's been the case for at least the last 5 or 6 years on the coast. I can't remember a period of poor snow growth during daylight hours as bad as this. Epic sublimation.
As a caregiver for a dementia patient believe me i know memories are the first to be distorted or altered.
The point is whenever I see people discussing '96 or '15 I don't even have to look at the models to know that things probably aren't going well in terms of snow.
They do... I remember that year well. I was out of Highschool and was REALLY hoping we had turned a corner with new decade of snow possibilities. When January '90 came along I knew the 80's were not dead. They would not die in Boston until '92/93.
