  1. ABC27 mentions chance of thunderstorms next week.
  2. Pic I took 2 days ago the ice is still here on the creek this morning.
  3. .22 rain so far from this event. Overnight low was 32. I believe the ground here is finally unfrozen. The rain is not running off anymore. Yesterday when the rest of the ice was melting it was running off. Getting closer to Spring.
  4. 24 this morning. Thought it wasn't supposed to be that cold overnight.
  5. JB said he expects the colder than normal temps to hang on till mid April. and we'll have a late Spring. But DT seems to say the opposite. So we'll see who is right. Wxrisk.com Now for the stupid people in the cheap seats let's be clear about this. YES of course we WILL see cold days in the second half of March and in April in the Eastern CONUS. The KEY phrase here is PROLONGED winter weather.
  6. 53 for the high today. Ice in the yard is now a memory for this winter.
  7. I think tomorrow at 5:30pm whp-21 has a half hour special on the snow storm of 2003. I don't remember that one.
  8. I hope no one chased him away from this forum.
  9. The ground up here at my place must still be very cold. As soon as the sun was setting and temp. got down to near 32 I could feel while walking on the some what soft ground already freezing up. At least the ice in the yard is melting.
  10. Wxrisk.com rentoSopsd6c23fghu4mgl826i2f8mugt674i2hcm11ia44tc3u3f044g1tg · IS WINTER OVER? Cannot say that for sure at this time. BUT I can say that there will be lots of readings into the 50s and 60s mainly east of the mountains next 8 days. It will also be MOSTLY dry so river and super saturated soils get to dry out!! There MIGHT be one real last winter push March 6-10.
