Finally a cool day! Current temp is 45 with a low of 29.

Flood watch has been hoisted up for the mountains and parts surrounding. For tonight through Thursday. Going to be just a bit wet.

Climatology speaking we are seeing new norms. Its hard to speak of past patterns when we are seeing new ones emerge yearly.

Yeah the past several mornings we have really radiated well. Had another heavy frost and freeze this morning. Crazy how the inversion work in these atmospheric rivers.

Another cold frosty morning with a low of 25 degrees.

Also we are down to 37 already. Heading for the 20s again.

Im not sure when or if we transition. The good thing is we had a great leaf season and we have had several frosts and freezes. Let it be warm. Ill watch how things go over the next 3 to 4 weeks. Currently just enjoy what is coming. To early to get sustained cold currently. I dont want it at this time.

Bottomed out at 20 degrees this morning. Coldest of the season.

Temp down to 26 here with a dewpoint of 12. We are only 3 degrees off our low this morning.

I can see that happening. Living back in a holler helps a ton with inversion and radiation cooling.

What a beautiful day! Clear and nice and cool! Current temp is 46. Going to be a nice cold crisp night.

That is the fastest I've ever saw a hurricane hit the gulf then shoot up inland.

Today is going to be a shock to the system with as warm as it has been. Highs in the 40s and 50s. Tomorrow morning lows in the 20s and low 30s then we get an even bigger push of cold air Monday. I expect highs in the 30s and 40s with lowes in the 20s, maybe even some high elevation teens. Also with the cold air ushering in currently I cannot put it past anyone along the boarder to possibly see there first flakes of the season. The further north you are the better chance you could see something.
