  1. Same. I’d never consider buying on the other side of the Pike either...only I’m staying on the North Shore.
  2. Looks like it would deliver the goods.
  3. What’s funny is that a lot of my friends from north of Boston don’t even consider SE MA. Friends south of Boston never consider NE MA. South Shore vs. North Shore. Battle lines drawn.
  4. 2001/2002 was a ratter on roids. No way BOS got 45.9”
  5. Just about 10 days away...almost there.
  6. 6z GFS misses SNE with extreme precision pretty much the entire run. I counted 4 or 5 whiffs. Silver lining...no cutters depicted.
  7. Metro Boston is quickly becoming the Bay Area. Untouchable!
  8. You’re probably right. My sister and BIL got into Reading (just outside 128) for under $380k in 2009. Old Capes on their street are now selling for ~$500k only to be demolished to put a 3500 sq ft new construction in its place. Their neighbors two doors down just purchased one of these for $1.3M!
  9. Agree. Inside 128 is soon to be untouchable for the average Joe. Woburn was one of the last “affordable” cities. Now, a full gut job 3 BR Cape style home exceeds $500k. Updated homes $700k+. By 2030, any move in ready home within 128 will require $1M+ just to enter the market.
  10. When will this seller’s market cool off you think?
  11. 12z GFS continues the vomit worthy sensible weather outcomes. Whiff, whiff, cutter, impending CONUS torch. At this point, this season is just toying with us.
  12. 6z GFS verbatim would cause some consternation within the forum. 3 or 4 whiffs and then it is teeing up a big cutter at the end of the run.
  13. Geez. Imagine the heating bills. Spooky audio too.
  14. Any idea of what this hole may be? Old well? Now a den?
  15. Birds chirping this morning like it’s mid April already. Just picked some parsley that’s still going strong from last year’s garden .
  16. Bittersweet for Brees. On the verge of retirement.
  17. This is why we can’t have nice things. How long before the Banter thread gets closed?
  18. Probably for the best because you just know that the cutter for 2/1 on the GFS will verify, wiping out anything from 1/26.
  19. Feels like one of those windy CAD days in March. Smells of burning leaves in the air with opening day a few days away. The senses are all screwed up.
  20. Yeah. He’s decent. Really nice guy. I met him at a cookout once several years ago. He’s married to my sister’s best friend’s cousin.
  21. Now we’re definitely punting to February.
  22. Hopefully 1/26 works out. Otherwise, we punt to February.
