  1. Dead cat bounce this morning? I exited yesterday at a hefty loss. Any accountants out there? To confirm, short term capital losses can be deducted from 2021's income next tax season, correct? Up to $3k.
  2. My brother lives in Lowell. He didn't measure, but his pics look more like 18-20" FWIW.
  3. Maybe a coastal job? 6-12 for the coast inside 95. Flurries outside of 495.
  4. 6z GFS scrapes the Cape for 2/8 with rain. No cold to be had in SNE in that depiction.
  5. Sure. Long easterly fetch with 60 mph winds off of 40F water yesterday is not exactly conducive to coastal snows.
  6. Harvey not overly impressed with the 2/8 event FWIW.
  7. Just 1.6" to go to beat last year's staggering 19" seasonal total here.
  8. Oh man. I'm definitely down in the basement now. 17.5" ain't going to cut it.
  9. No matter how 2/8 shakes out, the rest of next week looks bone chilling.
  10. Plenty of time for the Cape Ann screw zone to manifest itself. Inland, shovel those roofs!
  11. Someone please post a EURO clown map. I just want to check to see if I see something I suspect will be displayed nicely.
  12. Can't tell if you're being facetious...but I was being facetious myself when questioning that image. LOL
  13. Is that archived model output from this past storm? What the $&^%#
  14. May take us a while to clean up after this one...maybe a flick of the wipers? If you can’t tell, that’s sleet pooling at the bottom of the windshield.
  15. That will be my "melt" after the next few rainers/inland snowers that is followed up by a Mid Atlantic or Cape Cod special.
  16. Read it somewhere. I mean, I figured they did slightly better than BOS. I think the 30-year average is in the mid-high 40s now. At the very least, it got the same as Logan.
  17. Maybe it's not so much the winter or any particular storm is a POS....more likely that my location is the real problem. I heard Cape Ann averaged around 50" per season. Haven't sniffed that in 3.5 seasons here. BTW - You got 4.5" more than me in that Halloween storm.
  18. But that's all I got. I think the coast eventually scores on one of these. Now, if we go from coastal rains/interior snows to Cape scrapers, I'll really lose my schit.
  19. Coastal peeps are ready for spring training. Any chance of a LR warm up later in the month? A spring-like March would be welcomed with open arms here.
