  1. European just hasn't been that good this year at the surface even in the"short range"..
  2. At the surface the European is unimpressive but we really have to wait for SR guidance when it comes to any enhancement/lake effect..
  3. European pops the surface low much farther west like expected..
  4. Ukmet backs this pretty far west.. It's on the warmer side with 1.5" liquid equaling 5"-6" of snow lol Not that it matters much at this point..
  5. Most of this is in the form of snow Imby lol You have the Canadian camp which is mainly westerly flow enhancement (ends WNW/NW) and the Gfs camp which would be mainly NW flow enhancement..I do well in both verbatim so we'll see lol
  6. It did deliver some wrap around between hr 78-90.. Give it time it will come around lol Secondary developed much farther south..
  7. Para still looks solid.. Rgem has a little farther west track so winds are "westerly".. Para is a little farther NE and has more of a West-NW flow..
  8. Rgem with some nice enhancement east of Ontario..Track just east of Albany..
  9. 10-1 may be generous.. Still snowing.. It's the LR NAM lol
  10. 18z GGEM tracks through ENY and kinda hangs out just north of us lol Still snowing fwiw.. Surface temps will be marginal near the lakes, freezing or a little above, ratios won't be the best but wet snow is better than no snow lol
  11. Harden traded to the Nets.. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30706097/sources-houston-rockets-trade-james-harden-brooklyn-nets
  12. It's keeping the primary stronger for longer than any other Guidance..We need the transfer at a lower latitude..
  13. Para back to a big event, Kuchera has less than this fwiw.. Gfs is garbage, doesn't have a surface reflection until off of maine..
  14. Nam is the cold outlier as usual.. Expect to start seeing more green as we get closer lol
  15. Rgem is a little east of 12z, sets up some enhancement just to my north..
  16. Icon farther west, warm but decent wrap around/enhancement..
  17. Yeah same here, not much on Twitter but on other weather forums..It becomes more difficult to find if the coast is not involved lol
  18. You can run through the EPS snow depth here.. https://weather.us/model-charts/euro/new-york/m0_snow-depth-in/20210128-1200z.html
  19. Unfortunately not..I couldn't come to grips spending 25 a month for models you get free on PW..lol (euro, ukmet for example)
  20. Watertown recorded the most snow yesterday at 3.1".. Pulaski finished with 1" lol
  21. We have decent moisture, at least for a time..850s aren't brutally cold but cold enough.. I still expect some changes and don't trust the euro at all when it comes to precip amounts off the lake lol
