  1. Yeah looks like a band is trying to get going.. Enjoy!
  2. Slowly declining, flakes are becoming"fluffier"..
  3. Point and click not making much sense lol Not even the snow accumulation, it's the wind direction that doesn't make much sense especially tonight lol This Afternoon Snow showers likely, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 33. West wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible. Tonight A chance of snow showers, mainly after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 14. West wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Saturday A chance of snow showers, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 17. Northwest wind 10 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
  4. According to the NWS a band should already be in place..
  5. You can see on the GFS text product that winds are mostly out of the WNW at first, won't be until the winds flip NW that we really feel the"chill"..
  6. Interestingly enough the HRRR has a band forming over southern Oswego county on a WNW flow, can't say it will happen but radar kinda looks that way..(behind the main batch) Just hit the upper 20s so the cold air is slowly seeping in lol
  7. Cold is there, probably around 5-6 pm start to feel it.. Down to 30° Imby..
  8. Yeah WNY may be able to score a couple/few inches..
  9. Looks like a "bust" for parts of the tug . Last night NWS had 18"-24" for the usual suspects.. I'm guessing the rgem 1.5"-2" of liquid didn't verify.
  10. The year of missed synoptic opportunities.. Largest synoptic event here is still 1.3"
  11. Gfs keeps it more intact just a little to far south..(would be decent for WNY)
  12. HP kills the precipitation on the Canadian..Still time for a little north/wetter..
  13. Need one more bump north on the GFS.. Ripping pretty good out as this last band moves through, temp dropped a couple degrees to 30°..
  14. After todays event we should be close to 40" on the year Still not giving up on triple digits, need a monster Feb..We all know March is guaranteed cold and snowy lol
  15. Last event"officially" came in at 16"..But look at the precip lol Ratios killing us this year.. Maybe a little rain but not much.. Second 1"+ LE event we have had in the last month, both under performed wrt ratios..You can add this event to that list lol Need some cold air to cool that lake haha..
  16. Last "hurrah" here, coming down at a decent clip, temp finally below freezing lol
  17. Obviously every mile matters in these marginal events.. Few miles NE recorded 71/2" as of 7 am...
  18. About 4" of wet cement here, coming down at a good clip.. Temp stayed right around freezing all night.. Still have a little more to get through..
  19. Coming down pretty good at the moment.. Looks like only about 2"-3" so far.. Obviously snow is pretty wet with a temp of 32°..
  20. Still going to get squashed just not as much lol
  21. Hrrr is almost always to far south with band placement, it's in a good spot imo..Nice flow..
