Did make it to 95° after am low of 69° ...dews mainly around 60° during the day. Yet to really have one of those truly sultry oppressive days this summer...the kind with mid upper 70's lows and mid 90's highs with uncomfortable dps thru out the day.
It really only is a problem in the warm season when trying to quantify heat with its shading problems...at other times it's fine for its UHI environment.
PWS gages can suffer from undercatch in windy conditions and or when not properly exposed... Also I've seen gages that weren't secured properly so they swayed or vibrated in the wind causing readings too high.
