  1. Yankee Candle in CT would do a booming business with that map
  2. I can only speak for myself but you’re 100% correct. I am a bit of a hypocrite about this
  3. I wouldn’t mind a good storm but it seems like the CT electrical grid will be pushed back to pre 20th century levels if that happens?
  4. According to Facebook I guess it’ll be years before they can replace that radar FWIW
  5. Color me surprised I didn’t think there would even be a thunderstorm within 100 miles of my house today
  6. I wonder if that wave off of Africa becomes Nana at some point
  7. Has there ever been a significant New England tornado with this particular setup (As modeled) before?
  8. Just unusual to see such a fine delineation like that here. It’s almost like a snowfall map where the storm passes too far south to impact Boston but the cape gets a blizzard
  9. That’s very strange. Providence is in the enhanced but Boston barely in marginal?
  10. I guess we’ll have to hope for a well timed eye wall replacement cycle for this not to be as devastating as it seems destined to be?
  11. Wouldn’t shock me if this trended to a NYC and south deal. The other two similar occasions I can recall also trended from SNE to NJ a day or so out
  12. Beautiful looking storm assuming it’s ok to say that
  13. It seems that around here waiting/hoping for a warm front to go north is like waiting by the phone for your hot ex girlfriend to call you. Both usually result in disappointment
  14. For those of us with short memories, the enhanced risk used now was once the moderate risk, no?
  15. It’s going to seem strange following these next two severe weather threats especially after feeling the refreshing airmass that we have today. Sure doesn’t “feel” like it
  16. I’m patiently awaiting my severe so I expect to be rewarded soon
  17. Is that some kind of “homegrown” anomaly that Ginx has there?
