  1. The precip that will affect us hasn’t even blossomed yet, unsure how anybody is coming to the conclusion that it’ll be too far north. I think DC sees 1-2”. Baltimore 2-3” suburbs 3-4”. 5” Max around parrs ridge and other areas with climo advantage

I like it when LWX is playing catch up, usually means a good one is coming. bullish LWX doesn't always work out.

Feeling good about the Howard county and Baltimore county areas after looking at the last few model cycles. A solid 2-4” can’t be ruled out. RGEM would be amazing, but it’s typically too juicy.

  3. Very much liking what I’m seeing for central Maryland west and nw of Baltimore. Consistent with 2-4” on tonight’s models for Howard county and northern MoCo

rgem is likely overdone per usual. I typically go with 2/3 of what it spits out. NAM RGEM and euro all seem to be pointing to central md getting a decent event. DC is in and out of jack, but I assume we’ll have a better idea by 12z tomorrow

According to RadarScope around Ashland (just north of Richmond).  Doesn’t have that “racing north” look to it yet.

Seeing as precip is traveling west to east, you’ll be looking for a north movement and never find it lmao

East of her though, and north of I 70, we are still well below climo. I'm at around 11".

I cannot believe that man! We are above 25” in Ellicott City. Just been a western CWA type of winter so far. I hope you guys fair well today!

  6. to all of my fellow snow weenies in Towson  Whitemarsh and Parkville, hang in there! Snow is coming. I know you guys are prob shitting bricks up there without any precip yet. It’s coming! I do however fear they may only get 3-4” with the best lift being to their SW. Sadly, this comes with the territory. 1-2” per hour rates falling in MoCo HoCo means sinking air is happening somewhere as a result - in this case; E/NE/ sections of the CWA.

Skinsfan jackpot. Called it the other day. You will absolutely hit 8-10”

  7. Anyone have a solid radar they recommend for rain / snow line? Still think places well inland from the major metros hang onto sleet / ice for a solid 4-6 hour period.

4-8” is a good call for the western burbs. 8” by skinsfan, 5-6” for myself and Bobchill in MoCo/HoCo and  3-4” near the metros
