  1. Most severe threats are killed around here. It’s not like we live in Oklahoma.
  2. The line on Long Island is taking advantage of sun this morning and the lapse rates not contaminated.
  3. Still no warnings in eastern Pa for the squall line. Even with the lapse rates it will get contaminated by cloudy sky’s. The showers ahead of the line will be more impressive then anything after.
  4. If we can clear out after the round of showers this morning it will help. Currently these clouds are limiting are instability
  5. I’m skeptical we see anything later as we have rain in front of the cold front. Currently cloudy and cool here
  6. Yep, phase 3 in April is cold cold. Perfect storm now with blocking, mjo, -epo, and +pna.
  7. It feels like it’s been March since December
  8. You know it’s a cold pattern when nyc is challenging record lows
  9. You asked for it last week and here it is
  10. The west has been cleaning up in the snow department for a few years now.
  11. Enjoy! Im glad to just put this horrific winter behind us. I don’t think @donsutherland1 has had a positive news all winter/spring long lol
  12. Orh to northern Ct did great. 4-5 inches with BDL getting record for largest snow this late in the year.
  13. Looks like snow maps FTL in sne. Higher elevation in north CT 4-5 and 1-2 in lower elevation. The ratios this time of year will never be greater then 5-1/6-1
  14. I can 2-3 in the city while the northwest burbs get 3-6. It will depend on where the best mid level lift sets up. It will be a narrow band that really Rips while north and south of it get mood flakes.
  15. I think Boston will have Surface temp issues. Northern Ct and Orh county will definitely get 3-5.
  16. They will fight substance as the best CCB will be to their East. Looks like 4-8 I’m center city
  17. Yeah, I got a similar total here in Metuchen. I went way to high for our area that storm. The surface temps were a big issue and lack of intense banding. Northern Nj into SNE got most of their seasonal snowfall in that storm. At the time I wasn’t that bummed because it was so early in the winter. Now looking back it was are only missed opportunity of the winter lol
  18. Yeah, usually we bounce back well after a record below avg snowfall winter. Even if we don’t, it can’t get much worst then last winter. I didn’t plow snow once which is a first for me since I started in 2002. That hasn’t happened locally since 97-98.
