  1. Now got some pingers banging against the window. True kitchen sink kind of storm
  2. Way way less sleet, but way more freezing rain accretion. Judging by storm motion, my area would follow that same general SW to NE line. So I assume somewhere to the NW of me got your epic sleet storm as well.
  3. Sitting a touch under 31 here, so I am sure accretion has slowed. Eyeball looks to be close to .25”
  4. ZR is ongoing, with a real nice glaze forming on everything. If there was wind of any significance, we would have some issues.
  5. Quick back patio eyeball has me somewhere between 3.50-4”, waiting for sleetfest 2020
  6. Yeah, HRRR seems to this far have nailed mby. Snowfall totals are close, will have to see how the rest of the storm performs
  7. Well now it does. It was a train wreck at launch.
  8. HRRR seems to have a pretty good lock on things thus far. Another 4-6 hours of +/- 1"/hr rates would be right on target for mby
  9. Getting close to +sn. Visibility is dropping quickly
  10. The cold overnight temps pretty much ensured the snow insta accumulated on the roads
  11. Yep, went from flurries to moderate in about 5 minutes
  12. HRRR continuing to tick south/cooler with every run for todays event.
  13. 18Z GFS showing 4-5" of snow followed by .5" of ice for MBY
  14. Lets go ahead and lock this in now and call it a day.
  15. It probably does, but those events don't stick in my mind as much as the "4-6 inchers that turn into sleet storms".
  16. 3k has it sleeting all the way to Janesville, with a central WI jackpot. I have been burned many many times underestimating WAA.
  17. Yeah this run is going to throw out some nice totals.
  18. Plenty of time for the players to move around a bit, but I am not as pumped about siggy ice as I was a few days ago. Hopefully things trend colder.
