So ERC in progress, with plenty of time and the loop current in play. There is a path for us to see this go hog wild again, but so much is dependent on a flawless ERC

Damage is already being done. The lower this thing goes, the more surge it begins to carry along. Even if winds start to ease, surge is going to be devastating

Tallahassee looks to be in the untenable spot where the are stuck in the eyewall for the duration, as the eye goes just east.

Yep, should be off to the races this evening. Minimal land interaction really has this one looking much better already than I thought it would a few days ago.
