  1. Really enjoying back to back storms with daytime snow. Seems like the last few years the majority of the snow locally fell overnight
  2. Been a hot minute since I have cracked double digits. Let’s gooo
  3. Big swath of blizzard warnings across iowa
  4. This run is going to be a thing of beauty for NE IL. Still absolutely ripping at hr 26
  5. My wife just asked how much snow to expect. I told her I was calling 8” as my best guess right now for a number. She replied “is that in man inches or real inches” and I have never felt so attacked.
  6. I wonder how big of a royalty bump Annie Lennox sees every winter from having her music linked in these threads. Probably getting an extra McDouble with all these hits from the board
  7. Low takes a slightly more northerly route but the WTOD stay a bit further SE. If I’m LOT, I’m hoisting WSW for the 88 corridor and north, and WWA for the area south. Then just have to see how the chips fall
  8. I remember putting spotter reports into ILX via AOL Instant Messenger, lol. Grew up watching twister, and discovered the joy of the message board shortly before GHD1
  9. I feel good, not great about my 8” call. Lots of paths for underperformance but also a similar number of paths for a double digiter
  10. Love having a huge storm incoming that we will basically have to nowcast.
  11. Tossing one of the more consistent models thus far is a bold call, although I would not take its snow output verbatim near the lake.
  12. The NAM was abysmal. It was caving as the storm was ongoing.
  13. Most of the short range models were too far NW with the last storm at this range, fwiw
  14. Was really getting used to this “cutter every 4 days” pattern…
  15. Still liking 8” imby. Huge upside if things work out.
  16. Verbatim, widespread 12-15” totals across the entire metro immediate lakeshore notwithstanding
  17. NAM still trying to show good snows north of I-80 even with the odd path. Ends right for the wrong reasons
