  1. Just got a lot more interesting and the wind is cranking. Too bad it will be so short lived.
  2. Snowing here to your south, but not anything crazy.
  3. Line starting to get that magical parting look to it as it enters CT. Not liking the trajectory of the parting. Looks to be heading straight towards me.
  4. We have the temperature but I fear once again the moisture will be lacking unless there is one more NW push.
  5. A positive bust would be most welcome. Seems like a very long time since that has happened.
  6. Not that it matters one bit to the outcome, but it will be interesting if Albany adds Litchfield County tomorrow AM (not currently in the Advisory in Litchfield County).
  7. I'm beginning feel like the WOR crowd is on the island of misfit weenies. A coastal takes a favorable track and we might be able to squeak out an inch or so. Can't even hit advisory levels in CT.
  8. Is the Nammy going to pique my curiosity only to not have any cold air to work with? Most likely a non-event, but slightly more interested. Edit - cold enough in SNE.
  9. Hopefully something breaks right otherwise this is pretty sums up this winter. It would be nice to be a short fuse event - the long fuse ones usually disappoint.
  10. Frosty sleeps with the fishes after this. There is still snow cover but we are still at 33 degrees (I'm at 1k feet for elevation). Don't anticipate much happening here. I would love a sleet fest, but we are in the fourth quarter...
  11. Just came back through Riverton and Pleasant Valley in Barkhamsted and the car thermometer was bouncing between 34 and 35 degrees.
  12. Me thinks it is time to say goodbye to Frosty the Snowman.
  13. Going to need to pull a rabbit out of the hat for this one to have much of an impact around here. Last couple of days have seemed to be one step forward and 1.5 steps back in these parts. Northern peeps for the win.
  14. I like waiting until after the Euro as well. Feels like things get ramped up a notch once the thread exists.
  15. Thats stinks. Let's still do February big!
  16. Let's do February big to give you a great send off before you move south.
  17. Have no idea how much snow we have here - the wind is making a measurement impossible. The snow stake depth keeps vacillating between 5 and 6 inches. It will get up to 6 and the wind will knock it down to 5. Lather, rinse, repeat.
  18. Just doesn't look like there is a enough westward push to get the moderate goods up here into Litchfield County. I will admit that I'm envious of others in the bull's eye, but enjoy the ride. (I can always hope Mother Nature pulls a rabbit out of the hat)
