Had to do some barn chores over in Lovettsville this morning. Just got home. Rain and Graupel all the way. This photo of my car hood is all ice.

Nothing going on up here in Frederick. Going to be heading over to Lovettesville to help clean up after the ponies had a party all over their paddock.

16 year old here too. Got to love them...

Loving this weather! Had the younger daughter do barn chores most of the morning than rode in a short sleeved shirt.

I was in shorts and had windows open. Just put the ceiling fan on high so I can sleep. Insane!

Oldest daughter just went outside to go next door and babysit for a few hours. She was like why does it feel gross outside...

Told my kids today is taco night. Easy to put together dinner so mom can watch the severe weather going on in the South today.

Scared the crap out of my oldest this morning. Had a 2 hr. delay so that meant she would head to school at 9. Backed the car out of the garage and asked her to take the trash can out. Right as she came under the open door there is this huge !SPLAT! sound. Hit the top of the trash can and my windshield. The Solar panels had started melting and at just the right time a small avalanche occurred. She jumped back and I was like what the hell was that! I was glad she did not take a direct hit and we both busted into laughter. Way to get your morning going!

You can blame me for this. With no indoor arena this warmer weather is allowing my daughter to get winter riding in.

This is the first morning that I am chilled in my home. Cannot get my fingers to warm up. Just put on my finger less knit gloves. Don't worry though, Hot flashes will kick in and I will be in shorts by the afternoon.

Frederick County will call a 2 hr late start at 5 am with a re-evaluation by 7. I will be totally surprised if they do anything tonight.

That looks amazing!!! Love anything apple. On another note sat down and watched Dumplin’ with my 15 year old daughter today. WOW!! I had to bust out the box of tissues. I recommend to anyone to watch it especially if you have daughters.

Frederick, MD 4” wet snow. 29.0/26. Sent the man out to clear the drive. Child #2 after cleaning her bathroom will be testing out her new lightning fast spinner with the neighborhood kids. Child #1 is now 15 and the thought of getting into snow gear is past her.

Where again in Frederick are you? Down my way seems to be less.

28.9/27 Treated roads are staring to cave. Still only a dusting.

30.4/26 very tiny flakes falling but deck is starting to get covered.

I was in Gatlinburg, TN and had no idea anything had happened until my husband texted me saying that they just had an earthquake. Then it took me close to an hour just to contact him. I am personally glad I was not at home. I experienced at 4.2 in LA, small potatoes to them out there but it is not natural to see concrete walls move back and forth. Was one of the main reasons that I told him I did not want to continue living there.

Had to dig 2 cars out at our old townhome 3 times that winter. I bow down everyday for the garage we now have.

After my 10 hour drive yesterday I was fast asleep.

I just got home from Gatlinburg, TN. My husband texted me saying that there was an earthquake here. I felt nothing there. Sucked that I could not get through to him till about an hour later. He got home to Frederick and said nothing was out of place.
