Big hair! The resurgence of Aqua Net. That stuff was .89 cents a can. I used to use it for a cheep version of fixative on my graphite and charcoal drawings in college. The Book store even started to stock it next to the $7 a can actual fixative.

Need to find a reason to bake something yummy. Any rain on Sat?

I over the past year after dealing with daily migraines and anxiety/depression have decided to live day by day. I have taken a new look at weather and have stopped looking at anything past 3 days. Some may say I am sticking my head in the sand with all the information we have out there 10-12 days out, but it along with finally having my migraines under control and understanding that there are things I do not have control over has made this year so much better. I have learned to be happy with surprises. So the lack of snow this year has not bothered me at all.

Had to do some barn chores over in Lovettsville this morning. Just got home. Rain and Graupel all the way. This photo of my car hood is all ice.

Nothing going on up here in Frederick. Going to be heading over to Lovettesville to help clean up after the ponies had a party all over their paddock.

Loving this weather! Had the younger daughter do barn chores most of the morning than rode in a short sleeved shirt.

I was in shorts and had windows open. Just put the ceiling fan on high so I can sleep. Insane!

Oldest daughter just went outside to go next door and babysit for a few hours. She was like why does it feel gross outside...

Told my kids today is taco night. Easy to put together dinner so mom can watch the severe weather going on in the South today.

Scared the crap out of my oldest this morning. Had a 2 hr. delay so that meant she would head to school at 9. Backed the car out of the garage and asked her to take the trash can out. Right as she came under the open door there is this huge !SPLAT! sound. Hit the top of the trash can and my windshield. The Solar panels had started melting and at just the right time a small avalanche occurred. She jumped back and I was like what the hell was that! I was glad she did not take a direct hit and we both busted into laughter. Way to get your morning going!

32 here. Big fat flakes. Grass surfaces covered with about 1/2" with wet streets and some parts of the sidewalks starting to give up.

While driving to an appt. saw first flakes falling in Frederick. Tiny ones but saw them. Hitting right at early dismissal time. HS out at 12:15 MS 1:00.

You need to check out a documentary on Netflix if you have not already. It is Figure 8 School Bus racing in Bithlo, FL. Not a demolition derby, but when school buses go around a track in a figure 8 there will be interactions in the middle. Absolutely fascinating Americana. You have to get past the "community" environment, but it is well worth it. One of those documentaries where you say to yourself why am I watch this and then 20 min later you are still watching it. Frederick Co MD on time. But I suspect seeing an early dismissal announced. If the schools get to noon it is considered a full day. And going off the event we had like this last year, and their wait to release 2 hrs. early and buses running in snow with one off the mountain roads.

28.9/22 over here in Frederick. Told the daughters not to be surprised for an early dismissal today. Husband may not even head to Rockville as he has a RWD.

Have been watching this. Advised the husband about the timing. He is thinking he may not go in tomorrow as his car is RWD.

HEY NOW!! Husband commutes to Rockville and I have 2 kids. I need them to get home so they can eat my yummy dinners!!

You can blame me for this. With no indoor arena this warmer weather is allowing my daughter to get winter riding in.
