    Took this as we were headed out to feed horses. Was to the East of 270.

    Yea the wind blowing it into the windows is how I knew it was hail. Was raining so hard had to open the back slider to confirm it and size. And yep got close to the same amount of rain. With that line and the stuff behind it got .66” total. Station up to 1.71” for the day.

    Just had some pea sized hail out of the storm that just came through.

    I really like the info we get from the Frederick Scanner. Lot of trees down.

    Listening to the scanner. Going to be a busy night over here in Frederick.

    My daughter is home from school. She said they did what they were instructed to do. I am glad she was in the school. HS had just let out before the storm hit and kids got caught in it walking. Busses had to pull over. Glad it was not worse.

    It’s ok. I know she is on lockdown and they have it all under control. That is why they do drills. I am just on edge.

    Not funny for me currently. My youngest daughter is at school and in the path. My oldest daughter and myself are in our safe place.

    I am under the currant warning. My oldest daughter just got home from school. My MS daughter is still at school with the cell moving toward her school. I know they are taking percussions and have them safe but I am a nervous wreck right now!

    .26 in my station. One bolt of cloud to cloud lightning and some thunder. No high winds. Rain has put the humidity up to 90%. It is like a damp basement outside.

    Had to take my daughter to an appt on the North end of Frederick. Full sun out up there. We live on the SW side of Frederick got home and clouds are really retreating down here now. Currently 74 72/64

    Starting to feel the humidity up here now. Cloud cover still out there but getting some heating. 68 now.

    0.59” in my back yard so far. Planned ahead and did my annual load up my car with plants. The only thing I ever ask for on Mother’s Day. Got my deck containers planted to take advantage of Mother Nature’s free water. Garden plants are on the patio in their pots. Kids are making me Coconut Curried Shrimp for dinner as I sit in my PJ pants. Would have liked it warmer but I have my family and that is enough for me. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms here.

    Just picked up over an inch of rain out of that cell over here in Frederick. Was pouring like crazy. Still raining.

    Line just blew into my neighborhood. Pouring wind driven rain thunder and lightning.

    Weird after hearing thunder continuous now just getting a lot of lightning. Line is just to my West.

    Starting to get thunder and lightning over here in Frederick.

    My husbands office is currently under a take shelter proclamation. His office is in Rockville close to Shady Grove Rd. right next to 270.

    Things have quieted down over here in Frederick. Can actually see some breaking up in the clouds with the moonlight. Has really cooled down.
