  1. Lol...just part part time usually one or two shifts per week. Great pay though.
  2. FYI it's a "fake" reading. Just got to work a half hour ago and found out they're doing sensor maintenance so we're just pulling temp data from a wunderground station and dew point data from HFD lol.
  3. Wow, Jan '22 was noose worthy for western CT. Looks like eastern sections cashed in...thanks for all the info. '19-'20 and '22-'23 are the only winters I missed so it's kinda funny they were two of the worst ever.
  4. Meanwhile, the GFS is an absolute blow torch in the LR. Euro somewhat warm as well but GFS at 18z spit out a 75 burger lol. Euro lost it's rogue cold snap for the Equinox.
  5. I think the problem tomorrow will be the wind being from the south as opposed to the west. South isn't a good torch direction in March.
  6. Quite impressive...what was your total for the season? I need to move north
  7. I'll be there starting at 1 so I'll let you know right down to the minute if it does
  8. You still have a double digit pack? Damn...
  9. @40/70 Benchmark just smashed his keyboard
  10. Yeah Euro has an impressive one day cold shot with -20C 850s in NNE for the first full day of Spring lol. A few colder days prior to that but also some really warm days. I think I saw close to 70 for the 18th or so.
  11. Mansfield OH nearly losing to Elizabeth City NC
  12. @The 4 Seasons can you refresh my memory on the winters in the early part of this decade? I know '19-'20 was garbage even though I wasn't here. '20-'21 I think was pretty good. I remember a big storm in December about a week or two after I moved home from Milwaukee. And then I think there was another in early Feb? '21-'22 is the year I'm totally blanking on.
  13. Yeah, that's a nice parcel trajectory for us to torch. Well, looking forward to it...just bummed about Wednesday even though I'm working anyway. Was hoping I could enjoy a BDL tarmac torch.
  14. F is pretty harsh imo. A true F is '11-'12 (minus Rocktober), '01-'02, and '06-'07. Hell, maybe even '19-'20 or '22-'23 but I wasn't living here.
  15. GFS has it in the 30s here Thursday. Idk, maybe the warm pattern pans out starting Friday but this time of year I'm skeptical. And sorry for not realizing that's a front door setup. I'm dumb. Also, fwiw the GEFS and EPS show a below normal pattern returning D11-15.
  16. Also Wednesday looks absolutely awful with temps similar to Thursday. I'm skeptical of any blowtorch solution unless it gets inside D5.
  17. Classic backdoor setup on Thursday showing up on last night's Euro:
  18. Well here's the 12z Euro from Thursday for Wednesday afternoon:
  19. Right. But the regime you're describing was shown a few days ago to occur Wednesday and maybe even Thursday but definitely Wednesday was being highlighted as a potential mid to upper 60s day. Just wondering if as we get closer to next weekend the same step down occurs?
  20. Don't know what you warminstas are confused about. Both the GFS and Euro show us struggling to reach 50 Wednesday and Thursday.
  21. Agree, D here as well but Ds get degrees
  22. Seems like the torch keeps getting pushed back. It was originally gonna torch Tuesday-Thursday and now only Tuesday is gonna be somewhat mild. Wed-Thurs look terrible with the cold front pushing through Tuesday night and looks like maybe a reinforcing BD on Thursday? Weekend looks warm but that's a ways out.
  23. Is it just me or does anyone else really want a April Fools '97 redux when looking at Torch Tiger's avatar?
