  1. It clouded up and dropped the temp back several. It's still 74 so we are not headed toward a frosty night or anything :-).
  2. Coolest July in 3 years if I remember correct. Had a negative departure 3-4 years ago.
  3. And morning. Those that did not mow today risk being shut out.
  4. 366 :-). Pad my post count. Do not have enough apparently.
  5. MDT Chart for all 365 days including Jun/Jul/Aug snows.
  6. October snow was very common in olden times but outside of 2011 it has not snowed at MDT in Oct since 1982. Spooky stat. Once Mid Oct hits it has snowed almost all days going forward but it has never snowed at MDT on October 31. It has snowed every day the rest of the year after Oct 31.
  7. October 5th if my search is correct. You have to ignore the previously discussed Aug T's listed though.
  8. Here is what I predict for your next Florida trip.
  9. Early predict. The highest temp we hit this Sept....92. No models just a guess. This is the HIA at MDT.
  10. Agree on all points. I looked at the Czech roster and although there is some bottom level NBA talent on there, Team USA should have at least a 20 pt lead at halftime instead of just taking the lead as the half is ending. The Czech's should never score 43 in a half against the US talent.
  11. Team USA struggling with Czech this AM...not inspiring confidence
  12. Pop up so anyone's guess but the one negative I have seen for a few days is this very weak wave of pressure seems to "form" very close to us and sort of skip/rob the LSV. May not at all happen that way but I have seen it on the 3K and HRRR more than once. A line is coming from the west, this pops, west line dies and an east line forms.
  13. I hope not. It does not have that far reaching look I usually see when we get extreme hot. Its seems very localized (on the GFS at least).
  14. I personally am not sold on a major heat wave yet. Too variable and nicer weather close even on the hot depictions I see.
  15. The alligators are the real deal. I NEVER go into fresh water unless it is a spring that is clear to the bottom and other splashing victims near by. On the land you are fairly safe. There is a walking path near Gainesville where you walk pretty much right up to them. Snakes are just as bad here as far as I am concerned. They have coral snakes and we do not but it takes them 10 min to bite you as they gnaw on your skin so not a quick strike type thing.
  16. But you do not need to get your car inspected in Florida! How can you not want that luxury? :-)
  17. I am definitely thinking cloud cover here though you are right they raised the lows off the extremes but lots of mid 40's a bit north of us. Wu had a few scattered 30's at the NY border. GFS with garden variety heat mid term. KPit never hits 90 on the panels. You will not be there for some of it anyway. Lots of pop up convection next week on the GFS. I am afraid I am going to be a few degrees too low on my Training predict.
  18. One of the met's must have been drying their hair near the Therm. Clouds did hurt them though so cannot blame them too much this time.
  19. Almost 20 degrees between Bradford and MDT. They are up to 63 now.
  20. 2 months ago I thought he was the guy for the repubs. Being hurt now.
  21. We lost out on the 40's here because it is cloudy.
  22. 56 at 5AM. Not going to make 40's here though was not modeled to...was hoping we might. Most of the LSV is between 55 and 60 on WU. Our friend MDT is at 61 having dropped 5 degrees in 2 hours so heading for a 50 something. Lot's of Mid 40's in the Northern third of PA which is something for July. Lots of Upper 40's near Tamaqua.
