No one mentioning it but the GFS continues to insist that the heatwave of the century is coming to an LSV near you. It out there but is been consistent big picture for a week now.
Any downward movement is a huge surprise IMO. Looks like the spots I just checked are 3-5 degrees behind HRRR Noon predicts. The HRRR adds 7-10 degrees to most over the next 4-6 hours.
85 for early nooners. 88 down the hill in Waynesboro. HIA not nearly as impressive, on this map, as I had expected. Lots of upper 80's still. Below yesterday.
