  1. Dreary 61 and wet this AM. 4 1/2 weeks until Met fall.
  2. They are partying with the big GFS snowstorms last winter. Thursday coupld tickle 100 as depicted.
  3. High point so far is in Southern Adams and York where about 1" estimated fell. Pinchot estimated around 1/2" The focus of the first wave was well south of the trajectory of the suites showing heavy rain north of Harrisburg. 2-3" fell around Frederick. MD.
  4. Back end approaching fast....going to see a sunset here it appears. .6".
  5. Movie time at pinchot camping. Check out the thrift store yet?
  6. One of my spotters is already reporting 1/4" just east of Mechanicsburg.
  7. Mow #14 or 15 (losing track) will be held this week. LOL.
  8. So we were talking about rain start times...even the early models, like the HRRR, were too late with reality seeing rain entering the Lehigh Valley right now. The runs that had it starting this evening were really late. The latest HRRR has the rain ending 10-11PM in the LSV.
  9. Yea, the super heat wave that appeared headed this was mis-forecast by the GFS as of today's depictions. The end of the GFS is more late September than early August.
  10. I was just reviewing some of the tropical models as it is QUIET. I remember I said that last year, albeit it a week or two earlier, and things livened up but it is now August and there is nothing to track.
  11. Sincerely sorry you lost a chunk of the day.
  12. We are already between .1 and .2 with Mod to heavy rain. Raining through much of the Northern LSV now.
  13. A few miles west of rou'ville but it is pouring. Soaker headed in.
  14. Strong SW flow at 850 and a bit below is pumping Southern Air in. Plus a S/W forming to my SW. 83 now. Even warmer than CXY right now. It is quickly clouding up though so no records here today. One observer has 87 a bit north of me though I wonder if that is correct.
  15. Already 81 here. If not for the rain this afternoon, today could have been the hottest day of the year here.
  16. Yea, Eastern LSV was 4pish on the HRRR. 1-2 PM Western LSV.
  17. Nooners HRRR for this afternoon and night.
  18. They seemed to have a bias against this event...not much coordination with Sterling. They even continue to down talk the cell potential while neighbors talk of increasing instability. Latest HRRR has clouds increasing and thickening this AM with rain commencing between 2 and 4 in the LSV.
  19. Some Am models continue the late trend yesterday in focusing the heaviest ran in the drought of N Central PA. Potential for some 2-4" totals in cells. CTP trying to catch on but not there yet.
  20. It is always good that we get Hrrr to come every hour.
  21. 0z hrrr looks like it drops a one banger on you. 1"
  22. An apparently little known fact...nooner is not my contribution to the board.
  23. Oh crap, just missed it. But you were in the game...on the playing field....part of the action. The winner is probably pissed at your for bidding it up. LOL. 89 here as well. One of the hottest days of the summer. Top 10.
