  1. Adams and Cumberland county start off the rain today for the LSV.
  2. Also divorce from radar qpf pouring in over the LSV from the DelMarVa. The sweetest sight that cannot be replicated up in Gods Country :-)
  3. Windows open night for the cooler areas...some 50's temps with 50's DP's as well. 40's near Bradford possible.
  4. Early nooners here is 82 and mostly cloudy. MDT has peaked at 86 so far today.
  5. I am going for a 100 reading somewhere near us (not me). I see Harrisburg has a new Mayor.
  6. We did well Sunday.....,totally missed last night. So about 3/4" the last two days. Keeps me on pace for 18 mows for the summer :-)
  7. The HRRR suggests a few more people get lucky later today. It underdid the cells last night.
  8. That suit must have made them remove the Heatwave wording. Could that be old tyme Pillow in the background?
  9. You had to move to achieve but you were one of the lucky few, congrats! LOL. A few turned into half the LSV though. Maytown bagged 1/4" on estimated.
  10. I called them and told them Maytown airport is not showing up right on SIM radar. Maybe they ordered a full area audit.
  11. An estimated radar hole over Lanco on that map.
  12. Yea, it is not showing anywhere near that anywhere in Lanco. Maybe a radar station issue as this is usually fairly accurate. It nailed MDT at 1/3" and was right there with my total. Not sure if that MDT number is right though as the stations are showing errors right now. Maybe that is a root of the issue.
  13. I noticed the AM AFD dealt with this change calling the weekend a break. Despite strong ridging over the central US and Atlantic into Friday, model guidance continues to point toward a weakness in the upper pattern in the vicinity of Pennsylvania. This will allow a front to pass through the Commonwealth, dropping temperatures and bringing some showers and storms later in the work week. The boundary will likely stall out near southern PA Friday into Saturday, keeping rain/storm chances through the weekend. Despite the unsettled weather, it will be a nice break from what could have been a stretch of oppressive heat and humidity.
  14. Some energy passing by to our south this afternoon and then a front tonight into tomorrow...so rain chances still in play for a lucky few.
  15. The patent on this is under the same file as nooners. Point is on Maytown. Areas south of Hanover were over 1"
  16. I was assuming Paw Paw was next but I must have had the order reversed. Paw Paw is already complete.
  17. The forecasting floor installers seem to love themselves some Euro. Temps 4 degrees AN being called a Heat Wave is still weird.
