  1. On a whole area view, this is the worst the forum has been during this time frame/going in to Summer next week since, 2018 at least. The CPC is a little more optimistic feeling:
  2. Meso's bring scattered showers into the LSV tomorrow afternoon...maybe someone gets lucky. Then another potential frost Thur AM. More risk North on the frost but the Nam has mid to upper 30's down to the M/D line.
  3. MJS is having trouble finding people younger than he...I think he has 2 out of 8-9 so far.
  4. If 40, 33 and 30 come in the next Powerball, I will be freaked out.
  5. Speaking of old, Lordy, Lordy this is getting old.
  6. Early nooners at the old folks home...73 and hazy sun.
  7. I think a lot of us are in our 50's and 60's. I am in my 50's as well. I think ITT is too. Stephen/Carlisle is in his 60's I believe.
  8. I was thinking you were 30's so not sure if 41 is on the younger side or not, I withdraw my thought :-).
  9. I agree about the record and almost hope it rains everywhere we need it but not at the airport. Keep the grass alive and get the record. I believe you are one of the youngest posters here. LOL. I never really understood the phrase "sore as a whore" but it all makes sense now, whore is euphemism for someone who works in bricks, pavers, etc...basically spend all day laying other stuff.
  10. The 18Z GFS has no love for helping. 2 frost risk nights leading into the weekend with the weekend being dry. Great for parties but the grass is toast.
  11. The LSV has just had a penchant of going dry in May, June and July recently. As far as agriculture is concerned it could not be worse timing.
  12. The May Sun is already putting a decent hit on the grass....lots of browning taking place today. Almost need an irrigation system in this new climate.
  13. I could not get parked to check. There was a bunch of people standing at the front of the parking lot.
  14. Nooners outside the cashtown fire dept....hundreds of people here, have to see what is going on. 70
  15. Pretty warm yesterday...it is the lows that are surprising this late spring. The calls for early summer were just off base.
  16. I doubt you hit freezing late week, but frost is back on the possible menu. My comment about 30's maybe being done until next fall is at risk.
  17. PS, you can go with the tiebreak EC. Ruins most of the weekend for the shore but only drops .1" at MDT.
  18. Don't the tile and floor folks offer 24 emergency service?
  19. Same answer as yesterday, unsure. LOL. Just reading the models right now. With the chilly snap possibly coming late week I am going to go with May wrapping up its BN status. MDT was presented with a chance to have a decent AN day yesterday and sputtered in at 1/2 degree AN.
  20. Current top/bottom 10 for May precip at MDT. The 4th annual Memorial Day wrecker stands between MDT and infamy right now. On the 6Z GFS it is totally dry at MDT until June while the CMC does loop the cutoff low into Eastern PA over the weekend ending the chances of a sunny Memorial Day and a record. Of the months already complete, only 1 has happened in the last 45 years.
  21. Chilly 42 this AM. Up to 45 right now. No frost noted.
  22. It is the make or break for the record with mdt at .19 now. Having the holiday wet is the unfortunate extra thing to consider. With no rain potentially be for at least 7 days, going to be seeing some brown grass.
