  1. That "acid chart" JNS posted showed that it was fairly good for H-Burg and as you suggested, for us, it is the gold standard.
  2. I think those SPC maps try to make good live estimates based on all the data they have. But I am not an expert on that....
  3. I was just mentioning that chart posted was the Nam 3K at hour 6 not an actual ob.
  4. We missed all of that. We got about 1/2" rain (HGR has close to 1 1/2")
  5. Is this what you are looking for....between 40 and 50 closer to 50. Pretty darn high.
  6. Agree, that was my insinuation/thought as well.
  7. 18Z HRRR. Faily thick line for that high dBZ's. Tornado watch up for the LSV if it was not mentioned.
  8. Line from Bedford to Romney getting a slight bow look to it
  9. Rain aplenty here which is great rain on rain action after Friday. No winds or other severe issues yet.
  10. It was modeled well by some earlier HRRR runs and maybe some others. This is from 8AM.
  11. Started to darken here as it gets a bit closer.
  12. I am watching but they are pretty far from me right now. I am near the word Pen.
  13. Yep, I was thinking it was more for model verification that to suggest it was right. Convection is convection though....I am not counting my drops until they are on the ground. The 3K was splitting prior to 12Z in defense...it is insisting.
  14. I mentioned that before and the response was nil.
  15. The alternate radar has not been too shabby the last week...at least for central and southern LSV
  16. Mostly on its own but the 3K has a dry frontal passage for some of the LSV. Has been predicting this for more than one run now.
  17. Do you mean the first time for an Aug. Mdt risk in any part of PA since 2005?
  18. Nothing else other than try to "Met it out"
  19. HRRR has some high straight line like sustained winds in small batches. Calm after the front passes.
