  1. Out near breezewood there is a stretch of the PA Turnpike that they abandoned. It has two tunnels. I think it is 13 miles long but we only walked a few miles. Very apocalyptic.
  2. Not digital blue hoping patterns work out but cool just the same. Closed in 1968.
  3. Nooners. 38 near breezewood on the abandoned turnpike.
  4. My amateur one installed fairly well about 6' off the ground with vent shield and little sun and got to 74 or 75. HGR was over 70 as well. I would believe anything between 70-75. Rooftop is not realistic, I agree, but some sites say it is a good way to do it. On a day like this day in particular, I am almost always going to be higher than you without any valley protection like you have.
  5. Some areas down here got up to 76, just not official stations, if that makes you feel any better. Laurel Summitt got more snow that some combos of years here.
  6. I am trying to keep it down. LOL. It is on the beginning of the last month of winter. I do not want grass. Usually my first mow is not until late April or May.
  7. Very sunny here. Still only 25. Heavy frost has put the wham jam on the grass trying to get the wrong idea.
  8. 24 this Am. Winters temps are back. Over the next 5-6 days, may see a couple mornings of 10-15 at some of the colder spots. Brrr.
  9. That is Chris Broussard who once banged out a tweet that said "Multiple Sauces have confirmed a trade" or something like that and the meme took off from there.
  10. Yea, that was my thought on bringing it up twice. The Canadian really seems to do well on days where radiational cooling seems likely.
  11. I would suspect differences in measurement technique. I have nothing to confirm that, just what I would suspect if there is anything askew.
  12. That site I use does not have any official Lancaster reporting station in the 1960's. Here is Williamsport for a compare of another NWS station.
  13. Run eventually goes on to suppress the gulf action until the boundary has moved to the north of most of us. A wide-ranging ridge of high pressure controls the Northeast for most of the 300's with a trough in the SW....not a positive run though too far out to put much thought in it.
  14. The Canadian still beating the drum on some BN lows and highs next week.
  15. 12Z GFS does not work out as well as the 6Z with the complicated V-Day storm but as it goes into the 300's it is look interesting with a piece pf energy diving in from the mid-west forming a system near the gulf.
  16. CMC has most of PA in the teens and low 20's for lows much of next week (5 nights.) Pattern, shammatern....if it is right again with those low temps, as it is often the case, that may be one of the colder runs of ground temps for the rest of winter.
  17. Lol, I was going to put up a pic from that movie but I saw this first and could not resist.
  18. Oh man, I am still having Christmas is over depression. This adds to it! LOL
  19. Nobody said anything about 2/15 so I just looked at the 12Z GFS. Into the shitter. Come on HH.
