  1. I figure the HRRR forecasted that 2 says ago. LOL.
  2. 2 feet or bust for March. He was only getting 15-16 I think.
  3. I plopped it on there since you have been posting more lately...a little western CTP love. But remember that the Altoona number does not have the 30's and back in it.
  4. Fill the coffers in case it gets dry again (for wells, grass needs rain every few days in summer regardless.)
  5. Here are the numbers for our other major recording spot, Williamsport. Locked in as the #2 warmest winter in record keeping history at .8 above last year with one day to go. Also of interest, the second graphic is an Altoona station that has records back to the 40's with this winter being the warmest ever or tied for it depending on any movement today.
  6. At MDT this winter's average temp is in a virtual tie with last year though some quick math says it is .07 lower not counting today so may drop to 38.1 and 5th place as of tomorrow AM. Right now, it is virtually tied for the 3rd warmest winter ever with last year and 97-98.
  7. Gust Wind chill is 14 at MDT right now. 5 in Rou at the moment based on latest gust of 25.
  8. Elevation morning. My whole chain over here is in the teens and low 20's even well down into MD. Rgem has you in the teens tomorrow AM so probably low 20's.
  9. Just surprised some streamers made it down already. Did not check radar but maybe it is left over precip from the front.
  10. CXY has a gust of 56. 42 the top here so far. MDT tops out at 46 in their 5 min obs.
  11. Assuming tomorrow is BN at MDT, a good bet I think, MDT will end up Met winter with 22 BN Days and 69 days AN. Of those 69 AN days, 21 or almost one third were double digit departures. No BN days were double digit departures. This fact is putting my final Met Winter grade at D-. It is saved from an F due to the sloppy snows adding up over the winter. Snow wise it was a C type winter...Temp Wise if was whatever comes below F. The previous winter had 24 BN Days and 66 AN days. 3 of the BN days were double digit and 26 AN days were double digit.
  12. Fairly weak line (or skinny if that is a better word) heading toward S Central PA. Cold air follows behind it.
  13. Haha. Still waiting over here. 28 the highest gust so far.
  14. I am starting to wonder if his installers use a staple gun to attach them.
  15. Hey may be contacting his lawyer to find out how to rent you his name...for a cost.
  16. True but ironically cooler (on Average) than now. meaning it is way too warm for snow either way but the last 2 days have been a higher departure.
  17. Close...the lack of cold air is too much to overcome but a few degrees cooler and things are different.
  18. It is hard to tell the color differences and not able to look it up at the moment but assuming 7-9, that would be cooler (on average) than the last 2-3 days albeit no snow with that look.
  19. Dew here is 55 as it is raining. Dews should be in the 30's this evening. Single digits tomorrow on 3K Nam.
  20. 56 late nooners. Warmest it has been for this late Feb spring fling.
