  1. Nooners....Considerable Cloudiness with breaks of sun and 52.
  2. Week 3....some models say winter returns, some models say no way. That will be $100 and American Express will do nicely, thank you.
  3. MDT has not had a "cold" Feb since 2015 and that was really cold with an astounding -12.5 departure featuring the highest temp that month only reaching 42. Of the 9 Feb's since then, 8 have been above normal and one was a soft .6 BN.
  4. Yep. In defense of the weather and timing, it was like this the last two years even earlier. Last year 11 of the last 15 days of Feb were 55 or over with a 63, 69, 71 and 67 mixed in. In 2022 five of the last 15 days of Feb were 62 or over.
  5. Must mean that spring and summer are not really here yet and colder to come. Drought kicks in over here when the real heat gets here.
  6. Seemed to me that the shield came much farther West than some Meso's predicted. I was not expecting the near .4" here.
  7. Mod rain and a chilly feeling 41 with the wind.
  8. No ac here. Still covered. Clouds saved the $$$
  9. Clouds stalled our increase. 62 now which to me is better than getting in the 70's. 70 in the house as is,
  10. Mostly sunny and 65 at noon, So much for an all wet week.,
  11. It got up to 60 at Rou but clouded over hours ago and down to 56 now. Not as cloudy as the Mav's playoff hopes but cloudy just the same.
  12. Starting to see it get a bit lighter here now. Up to 45.
  13. .NOW... While fog is slowly dissipating, a few areas of dense fog remain in areas between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains. In particular, visibility less than one quarter mile is being observed at 9 AM across portions of western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and the Waynesboro Virginia area. This fog will continue to dissipate through 10 AM.
  14. They have services on their website and YT every week. Lots of accidents so they were having trouble getting staff in.
  15. This webcam near Hagerstown tells the story here right now. Our Church cancelled in person service. March has been outright cold so far...hope today's 60's come to fruition. Never broke 40 yesterday.
  16. 2 hours ago it was clear and 41. Now socked in fog and 36.
  17. Grapefruit league standings cover the majority of the favorites here in the top 4. O's, Red Sox, Phil's, and Yankees.
  18. I did not mind this particular Sat Am but not sure about never...some Sat's I might have minded it. Thank goodness he has perfected 18-day forecasts so we can stop all the model watching and use the time for good deeds.
  19. Speaking of plentiful rain, I just made a grass inspection and except for the areas the tree guy put down food for our maples, there is nothing yet. I would not say it looks like Jan 15th grass, but I am weeks away from growth that would need a cut. I would have to set my mower high and mower 3-4 times on purpose this summer (instead of one mow) to keep up with you.
  20. Outside the low rain issues to topsoil if it does not rain for a couple weeks, I wonder if we get any drought declarations this year. Could be a drought free summer if we get at least occasional rain. I say this with the knowledge of what looks like a wet or white period coming up over the next 2 weeks.
