  1. 2 hours ago it was clear and 41. Now socked in fog and 36.
  2. Grapefruit league standings cover the majority of the favorites here in the top 4. O's, Red Sox, Phil's, and Yankees.
  3. I did not mind this particular Sat Am but not sure about never...some Sat's I might have minded it. Thank goodness he has perfected 18-day forecasts so we can stop all the model watching and use the time for good deeds.
  4. Speaking of plentiful rain, I just made a grass inspection and except for the areas the tree guy put down food for our maples, there is nothing yet. I would not say it looks like Jan 15th grass, but I am weeks away from growth that would need a cut. I would have to set my mower high and mower 3-4 times on purpose this summer (instead of one mow) to keep up with you.
  5. Outside the low rain issues to topsoil if it does not rain for a couple weeks, I wonder if we get any drought declarations this year. Could be a drought free summer if we get at least occasional rain. I say this with the knowledge of what looks like a wet or white period coming up over the next 2 weeks.
  6. El Nino caused the warmth. What do we root for now? https://www.yahoo.com/news/warmest-winter-record-winter-weather-100051725.html What caused the warmth? Meteorologists say that El Niño, as predicted last fall, was the primary driver for the warm weather pattern that persisted throughout the winter. El Niño typically produces unusually warm winters across the northern tier of the nation. AccuWeather chief meteorologist Jon Porter also said that our warming climate also contributed to the unusually mild conditions for much of the country this winter.
  7. I just can't do it with that hilarious inverse picture you posted. (With his shirt reading backwards.) The GFS is putting the Spring Fling in the rearview with only 3-4 days with AN highs the next 10 days.
  8. One of several snow chances on the 6Z GFS (PA) though they all rely on timing and progressions that could not be modeled accurately at 72 hours much less this far. <Jim Carrey from Dumb and dumber.jpg>
  9. 35 and about .4" in the coffers. The neighbor said when it came down fast late yesterday, parachutes were mixing in though I did not see it myself.
  10. Light rain and 37 here. Sim radar shows snow in Pillow.
  11. They also did drop down .1 for the winter as a whole to go to number 5.
  12. His shirt was a rearview like picture so figured it should be in a rearview mirror.
  13. What type of food. That is my stompin grounds when I go back down. A lot of Dutch food there believe it or not.
  14. Clearwater beach is pretty amazing. You may not have time but so is this....get on a boat from Honeymoon to Caladesi. Shells galore.
  15. I mostly refuse anything pitched on SB Weekend. That would include this. Also, can an independent actually win the Presidency? SB weekend was full of stuff this year.
