  1. That is going to be quite the range again for you today. Didn't you break 40 degrees yesterday. Winter mornings and summer afternoons in pillow. Too cold for windows open for me.
  2. 38 this Am. A large and in charge 7 degrees cooler than yesterday. 6Z GFS looks decidedly less wintery in the LR than 0Z did. Still relatively cold next week, talking the next week The boundary got pushed North quite a bit.
  3. Mine is still covered. Doubt I pull until April. It did get to 69 in the house today so going to be a little warm the next 2-3 days.
  4. We had between 3/4" and 1". Those bands migrated west and kept snowing here until after midnight. Driveway was actually partially covered.
  5. Looks like 65 is going to be our top temp...impressive just the same after what we had as recent as 36 hours ago with snow covered yards.
  6. Along with several nights below freezing in our hood, ChatGPT/Euro AI has temps below zero invading the Upper Mid-West.
  7. MDT bagged a 70! Good call by Canderson. The models often being under by 5-10 degrees when the Southwesterlies are raging is a big issue.
  8. Trying to remember if Sauss is one of those guys with an Ego.
  9. I wonder if Sauss did his yard in the 50MPH gusts.
  10. I just did a property walk and we do have some weeds coming up. I hope the yard guy gets here soon with his preemergent. Grass is still not growing.
  11. Nooners. 53 and quite breezy. Temp has only gone up 8 degrees since 7AM. MDT make a run for mid 60's with a 59 temp.
  12. Too add to this, starting with 2016, meaning 9 Feb's counting this year, 8 of the 9 have seen temps in the 60's at MDT and 3 of the 9 have seen temps in the 70's including 79's and 78's.
  13. MDT wise, this has been going on almost nonstop since Feb 2015 which was the last time MDT came into March not warm. There are not always hard freezes late but since 2016 the temps have always been well AN in Feb except one year where it was about at normal. It is quite common now to see 60's and 70's in Feb making the 60's and 70's in March less of an anomaly.
  14. It is 45 here so easy to see the Southwesterlies' are kicking in. Hopefully you did not lose any plants though more freezes are probably on their way.
  15. One of the other winter opportunities from this AM is also on the 12Z GFS. Basically, the run suggests that after this week, AN High temps are gone for the majority of the rest of the run (though it is back to this Friday being a 70 day for the LSV as the rain is a bit slower to arrive.) Although temps are not shown AN they are not exactly very cold either. Just normal or slightly below allows for the chance of snow with the active STJ.
  16. Close to something more...Temps very borderline of course.
  17. How would be a good time to put up a balloon with a message to write back. Maybe it gets to New Zealand. Queen's, "Flash" Misheard Lyrics: Dispatch water and ajax to bring back his body. Original Lyrics: Dispatch war rocket Ajax To bring back his body.
  18. Nooners, 38 and Windy. Headed for our first period in the 40's since Friday evening.
  19. Sunny and 34 with winds around 25 sustained and gusting into the low 40's. Windchill at sustained is 21 and gust is 18.
  20. Agreed. I think it was sort of the undercard because of all the warm surrounding it on both sides but it was impressive. KAOO had snow on the 5 min obs from 11AM until after midnight.
  21. A parade of potential snows on the GFS after the spring fling Tue-Thur this week. No single vort is a big hit on this run but watchable.
