  1. Nooners, 38 and Windy. Headed for our first period in the 40's since Friday evening.
  2. Sunny and 34 with winds around 25 sustained and gusting into the low 40's. Windchill at sustained is 21 and gust is 18.
  3. Agreed. I think it was sort of the undercard because of all the warm surrounding it on both sides but it was impressive. KAOO had snow on the 5 min obs from 11AM until after midnight.
  4. A parade of potential snows on the GFS after the spring fling Tue-Thur this week. No single vort is a big hit on this run but watchable.
  5. That area of snow is pounding down there. We are up to three quarters of an inch here with the driveway getting snow on the sides...27. Snow has mostly moved to the south and west of the Lsv now.
  6. Quick scan looks like MDT 54, LNS 46, CXY 45 and THV 44 so far for high gusts.
  7. Snow Squall Warning for just south of Lock Haven
  8. I am tucked into my house down the hill but my tenant told me about the accum up. Not going to ask them to snap a pic. LOL
  9. After a high of 38 today it is down to 27 now. Probably some icy roads at this point as Snow+ continues.
  10. Up to .2" here now. Everything covered except the roads. Going to set the grass back even more. I figured we would have a snowy day, but this is over top what I thought would happen down here. Over 1" in Pen Mar up the hill. Top 10 23-24 winter day at this point.
  11. GFS has been changing the warmest day for next week with Thursday being the hot one now vs. Fri. 18Z actually has Friday staying in the 40's and 50's for a lot of PA now. Thursday would be a true spring fling for those wanting the heat with a shot at 70 in the southern 1/3rd.
  12. It is not doing so well to your East. Snowing in Philly per my contact there. I would guess 90% of the rain markers on there are snow. But I was more pointing toward the coverage over 2/3 of the state. One of the most impressive snow days of the season.
  13. This is what happens if trying to PBP the 18Z GFS from Disney.
  14. Winter is over may have been a over step? It has snowed twice here today now.
  15. Drivng through a fairly heavy snow squall just east of Hagerstown. Grass caving.
  16. PS at 47, MU is already 3 over their NWS forecast high and 6-7 over most models so the CAA must be lagging a bit, or temps are not mixing down as well as progged. One of the Micheaux Forest therms is reading 33 right now with elevation. The 40 at HGR and 35 here is modeled fairly well.
  17. I just hope we all get a ground whitener this afternoon.
  18. Looks like we will go a good 72-hours without breaking 40 here. February should be embarrassed letting March steal its thunder in seeing 2 daytime high BN departures of double digits when we could get nowhere near that in Feb. I see it is not quite as cold in the central LSV.
  19. 12Z HRRR has quite a bit of snow making it to the LSV this afternoon
  20. 34 with sustained winds 25-30 and gusts near 40 right now. Sustained Windchill is 20.
  21. NWS throwing down the gauntlet for snow today. Could be heavy at times. Today A chance of rain and snow showers before 4pm, then a chance of snow showers between 4pm and 5pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers after 5pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Windy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  22. Do not see a lot of model support for a temp of 70 at MDT except one day next week. 35 here this AM.
