Yea, I meant the official therms over there...MDT, THV, etc...area. Clouds, rain, etc. Much too dry to get cells going here. Maybe tomorrow. I had a nice rain July 4th and then just .2 since then. I know you are in even worse shape. Seems like Hanover is the place to be recently.

100 on the dot in downtown Waynesboro. 103 in Scotland. Waynesboro temp is verified, Scotland is Wunder. Are we the new HIA? LOL. The DP is in the 60's so that is one reason....we do not have the benefit of the rain you guys are seeing in that area. 95 at Rou making this the second hottest day of the year. HGR is 98 I think also making it the second hottest day of the year. Even if 97 still tied for second.

99 now in downtown Waynesboro. 98 at the high school. Several 100/101 WUNDR readings in Northern Franklin. Today is going to be the hottest day in many years for lower elevations over here. HGR 97/98 for a high so far.

I thought you said models were out for now :-). No unfortunately the MCD signature is gone or close to it. Just scattered convection. Going to be a grass watering period for me starting tonight. Just .2" in the last 10-11 days. I know otsher have it worse, but this is not good enough regardless.

The GFS came off its "High" horse but now the EC took its place for Tue (though has 80's at MDT for 2PM tomorrow) with 101 at 18Z Tue.

Looks like MDT bagged a 92, 93 or 94. HGR and LNS 90,91 or 92. ABE (for Voyager) 89, 90 or 91. My 88 not too far from them.

AFD maxes out at 100. Not much model support for it though. Some but more for 95-97ish. It is possible tomorrow is the hottest of the days considering higher potential for clouds and convection Mon/Tue. Heat pattern ramps up and peaks early next week as a large Bermuda high pumps increasingly hot and very humid air into CPA. 850mb temps rising to around 22C supports highs peaking between 90-100F

One or two mid 90's there but a lot more upper 80's vs. mid 90's.

If you get a D1 designation the farmers can apply for aid. My neighbor has done it every year I have been here (since 2018.). It is almost like he has the farm just to get Obama bucks.

88 at 3:30. Nice rise from 79 before. Heat has some push to it. Just looked at 12Z. Euro only has one day above 90 at 18Z for MDT next week (though it is upper 90's.) GFS is still really the torch bearer for extreme heat spanning several days.
