Wonder how if the instrument failed during the storm.

Yea, they are not good on the low and high end sometimes. If you find out what HGR is going to do, let me know. I posted an NWS graphic admitting the entire area got 2-5" yet. I think they will actually break a record for the day.

Another good example of how bad those maps are in extreme circumstances. The NWS reports up to 5" and the map says 2-3.

Yep, better get Blizz on this. But they reported .44 " of rain after reporting heavy rain from 8-9:30.

I would guess around 3" but not sure how they will fix the issue. Areas just to their south got 4-5".

The rain broke the HGR gauge. There .44 total reported is way off. The 5 min readings did not report any of the rain during the deluge.

By the time that cold front is done with us. MDT will probably have their mean well below 80. July 2020 is not going to be challenged.

65 for the low. MDT scored their 9th BN day yesterday and based on models, seems likely to easily get past 10 for the month...which is not too shabby. Imagine if they end up with almost 1/2 of the month BN.

Some close to 5" WU reports near HGR.

For the day it is .45 which is very needed. A good soaking. May catch some more as it leaves the area....some near 5" totals in Hagerstown now. As of now it has not really rained hard but steady just the same.

Nearing 4" near HGR now. Going to change the convo there. If this does not start moving out soon, flooding is going to be on the way (West of here.)

This area right here has been getting ham jammed for an hour now. Some 1.5" reports so 2" seems possible.

It may not miss us but has hardly moved in 45 min. It is slowly translating to another group of cells to the south. Note that I saw Rouzerville but am off that map to the right of the direction icon. It appears imminent right now.

I only have 2/3 of the yard to go and watering will be done! I will keep my hands on the rubber part of the hose in case of lightning strike. LOL
