  1. The beat goes on with the GFS being too cold.
  2. Wind driven drizzle this AM. Nice slow watering fro the plants and grass. A balmy and humid 72 already.
  3. 540 line down to near MDT at 7AM Monday morning on the latest GFS with the first day of June featuring copious amounts of lows in the 30's over much of the North and West parts of the state.
  4. Looks like for PA most are normal right now with a few near the Mason-Dixon being above. Quite a few Above in N/E PA. Western VA and NC are in a more dire situation.
  5. I think we could see some flooding in Western PA down through Western VA.
  6. Looks like that tropical deluge is going to pass to the west of the LSV now (Thursday AM). Edit just saw this system now has a name. Tropical Storm Bertha.
  7. Yep, mine has been on much of the day as well.
  8. Our humidity is up near 70% which is a bit sticky. Temp is 78.
  9. It got up to 84 in my house yesterday. Was outside with Memorial day stuff so did not notice but the A/C was cranking all night to get it back down to 72.
  10. Made it to 82 here. Gfs totally flopped. Sun has been out almost non stop since 2.
  11. Visiting Florida will be scuba diving to see Orlando.
  12. Sun's peeking out here already but I agree I think it will me mainly cloudy even over here.
  13. GFS would want to keep Much of the LSV in the 60's today. NWS pointing mid to upper 70's.
  14. Well the GFS completely flopped and made that first week of June much warmer while focusing the fairly extreme cold deviations on next week. Still some below normal days in June though.
  15. Yep, I just commented earlier that these strange forecasted temps are not all based on the Atlantic influence. Today it is but not into next week or even the following week. GFS drives that tropical presence right up just west of Chesapeake and then over us. Just rain of course. Never really develops much.
  16. Fascinating temps even next week on the GFS. Wed Afternoon sees Bangor, Maine in the 90's, Lancaster, PA- 72 and Athens, GA- 69. Of course clouds involved again but still topsy turvey. Hinting of a Low coming off the Fl Coast and trying to go Tropical at that time.
  17. GFS keeps the LSV in the mid 60's now. Late Spring CAD event.
  18. That early June cold is not all Atlantic driven but like you said earlier you are keying on Late June :-)
  19. The GFS this morning is truly a historic cold start to June. No 30's at this point but plenty of nights in the 40's and 2-3 days it stays at or below 60 all day in or near the LSV. Of course there are clouds and plenty of North/NE winds involved though winds are out of the N/W on the panel below showing the approx highs for June 6.
  20. Hello Mr. 80. Temps skyrocketed over 80 in the last hour. 82 now.
  21. GFS has backed off the extreme cold temps the first week of June but still shows historic lows in the lower 40's for the LSV. Looks like MDT got to 40 in 1980 and 41 in 1961 as to challenging all time June records.
  22. The only experience we have with something like this is 1918. This could play out totally different but until we see that it will I think the safe bet is to assume there will be some similarities.
