There are already law suits surrounding it. Actually we are dealing with one at my work in some manner. Whether it would hold water in a personal situation I am not sure but for employers and employees its a fairly large scale legal situation right now. I will have to find the article but in one case a wife of a husband is suing his former employer for making him go to work which in turn led to her getting the virus.
The suspense of Wolf's new chosen ones is actually getting to me...will I get to enter a non essential store anytime in the next 4 weeks? Even if I have to drive to Fulton. Will Mag open back up again? Adams county looks pretty clean is Cashtown back in the game? LOL
Its a bit misleading but I am thinking those that do not come out next Friday (anyone he announces today) are probably going to run through to June 4th. He could have picked May 28th like a lot of other Governors did but since he specifically said the 4th we can assume the harder hit counties are in for that long.
I travel between MD and PA 5-6 times a week. If it were not wet out I could probably get my laptop wifi connection to stay at one bar when I went from my PA office and walked over the MD line in a minute or two. So travel at will. No border guards. :-) But if you fly then you might be at risk for a lawsuit if you bring back something and do not self isolate.
The local Flea Market around here is going to defy and open this weekend. I just saw a second graphic suggesting cases feel slightly yesterday. So whether they rose or feel a bit is a bit of a question. My county is at 164/100,000
General increase of Covid infections in PA today. Wolf is going to have to give up following that 50/100,000 metric or we will not be opening retail in parts of the state even past June 1.
You forgot that there were dozens of observations stations that missed the deadline for this run. I do not think they sent a plane out to measure the core of the storm. The algorithms on TT are screwed up lets find another snow map.
I love looking through these records. Some other interesting stats:
* After November 2nd it has never hit 80 at MDT until March the following year. I would have thought there would have been more 80's later in the month after recent February runs at 80.
* In fact the February average of record highs are quite comparable to November at MDT. Very similar maxes over the different days of the month. I guess that makes sense. Dec and Jan are the two colder months when it comes to averages of record highs.
* But when it comes to record lows February is much colder than November records.
* In 1945 it hit 49 on July 2nd at MDT
* In 1941 it hit 49 on August 5th at MDT
***** The records show it snowed at MDT on August 15th? Maybe some graupel?
18Z Nam and GFS both focus on the southern half of PA. Main differences are the Nam staying snow in more places. 18Z Icon looks a lot likes its 12Z run.
