  1. NWS put out a flood watch for Franklin and some counties to the west. They think the soup like atmosphere is going to dump on someone as that front goes through before stalling to the east.
  2. Good 'Ole GFS/FV3. It is consistently inconsistent regardless of the calendar.
  3. Same 2M map 6 hours later on the 12Z GFS. What was once 57 is now 88. LOL.
  4. Lots of very small showers floating around S Central PA but the radar looks pitiful compared to yesterday at this point so a bit later forming today if it does pan out.
  5. If I get rain again today I am definitely off the drought bandwagon.
  6. I thought of you when I posted this graphic. Probably will not come true but still worth posting.
  7. The HRRR seems to point toward the middle and upper part of the state more this afternoon vs. what you saw yesterday...at least for the Eastern half. Starts in the the S/W LSV and rolls North East in multiple waves. We seem to be getting in a pattern of being around dying cold fronts but just far enough west to hold off oppressive long term heat into July. Check out these highs for July 4th.
  8. Yea, but you deserved more. You may still get it coming out of Washington County.
  9. Seemed to tail off right when it got on your door step. But still enough to feed the grass a bit.
  10. Its down to 70 here if you get a chance to enjoy the sweet, sweet bursts of air being pulled down by raging rain.
  11. The areas of Adams county not getting rain right now are minuscule so I am very much hoping you are going to score.
  12. That area in Western and Central Cumberland county is bulldogging through everyone there.
  13. It's expanding and forming as it goes. We picked up a quick 1/4" but I am more rooting for Cash's golf course to get something. This AM's HRRR was pretty decent. Nam was underdone.
  14. That area south of Martinsburg is something for you to watch.
  15. I hear you. Right now the storms look to split around Cashtown and I but we are getting some heat relief with the sun shunted.
  16. There are cells N/W of DC that have your name written all over them. Edit---And the moment I typed that it now has a more Northerly Trajectory. More toward West York.
  17. Will see who wins the green grass for a day lottery in the next 4-5 hours.
  18. Even the usually dry HRRR focuses quite a bit of scattered convection and shower activity on the LSV this afternoon.
  19. Your typos make me laugh more than anyone else. LOL. Vroom, vroom... I hope everyone gets at least enough to keep the yards looking nice. Taking the first part of fathers day to mow the yard, parts of which have not been mowed at all in June due to dormancy. Happy Fathers day to everyone.
  20. Irrigation systems for everyone. Seems like there is a chance for rain most days next week.
  21. Wow, I thought you were getting rained on. I was driving down 15 and when I passed 30 I looked West and the rain was heavy. Sorry.
  22. Its actually pouring here. We had more rain in the last 15 min than the last almost 3 weeks combined. Edit 3/4" in 30 min. Nice grass watering. Hopefully Cash's Course gets the same later.
  23. The reports I saw showed some stations in the MSV reporting between 1-2" yesterday over an hours period. Ironically York county apparently got slammed yesterday with both York and Mt Wolf reporting over 2". Mt Wolf's immediate neighbor, Manchester, only reported .87" so a sharp cutoff of over 1" difference.
