The areas of Adams county not getting rain right now are minuscule so I am very much hoping you are going to score.

That area in Western and Central Cumberland county is bulldogging through everyone there.

It's expanding and forming as it goes. We picked up a quick 1/4" but I am more rooting for Cash's golf course to get something. This AM's HRRR was pretty decent. Nam was underdone.

Your typos make me laugh more than anyone else. LOL. Vroom, vroom... I hope everyone gets at least enough to keep the yards looking nice. Taking the first part of fathers day to mow the yard, parts of which have not been mowed at all in June due to dormancy. Happy Fathers day to everyone.

Its actually pouring here. We had more rain in the last 15 min than the last almost 3 weeks combined. Edit 3/4" in 30 min. Nice grass watering. Hopefully Cash's Course gets the same later.

The reports I saw showed some stations in the MSV reporting between 1-2" yesterday over an hours period. Ironically York county apparently got slammed yesterday with both York and Mt Wolf reporting over 2". Mt Wolf's immediate neighbor, Manchester, only reported .87" so a sharp cutoff of over 1" difference.

I am loving the daily GFS qpf maps which continue to say I should be sitting on over an inch of rain since Thursday. Euro as well. We have quite the arsenal of quality forecasting guidance to count on! <Snicker> When we went into a moderate drought last summer my local water authority took away the rights to water our lawns and I think it is coming again next week without some major downpours this weekend.

I saw several flood or flash flood warnings on the nws map but did not investigate further. Like @Cashtown_Coop said...completely skipped over southern LSV.

Had a nice downpour this AM, A bit less than a 1/4" total. A grass watering at least.

Its been the last 3 weeks mostly. It has practically not rained in the majority of those counties for close to a month now. Just a couple very light events. And with the very dry weather recently it has sapped the moisture out of everything.
