  1. Ouch, that is ugly. Hopefully it did not have fish. NWS AFD points out the drought conditions this AM and suggests late week is not going to help but I am trying to be positive and hope for some downpours. Its still early and we can get out of this with just a decent rain. If we miss out and it persists into July we will be looking at severe crop damage.
  2. Yea, we are way behind right now so mid and late summer will need to be wet. I do realize most of the LSV saw quite a bit of rain last week so I am getting too whiny about it. LOL. We were in a drought last year but later in the season. The temp and general weather has been beautiful as suggested just tired of having to water every night to save the stuff we planted. If the GFS is right we should start to square away a bit as we start into Mid Summer over the next few weeks so that is a possibility though I do have a bit of a chip on my shoulder after the GFS showed us getting 10+" and we got 1/4".
  3. The Western LSV will probably be officially declared in a drought on Thursday though I did not watch radar every day for Adams and Cumberland.
  4. Get out your fan and push that stuff north. I think I am in the minority of being dry though I suspect @Cashtown_Coop 's golf course is doing a lot of watering. I was in Gettysburg yesterday and many peoples lawns looked like they sprayed roundup on them. Enjoy your time. It's not how much beer you drink its what kind :-). 3 Coors Lite's are the same as one Mad Elf.
  5. I am not going anywhere that far south until the Covid numbers start going back down! LOL. I faced a wrath of negativity after my Florida trip two weeks ago. No one up here wants anything to do with what they are now going through down there.
  6. So we have had 1/4" of rain in the last 16-17 days. Thursday looks promising on the GFS but not so much on the EURO. Euro has this area going into a full blown moderate drought. Edit-Euro caved the GFS for Thursday at least LSV wise. Brings much needed moisture back into the area.
  7. Lol. That is damn funny. I thought Harrisburg was really loosening up!
  8. Lol. Are you in Florida going to weddings in shorts? Lol. That is a pretty funny comment. It was so cold I had to go back in the house and put on pants for a big job interview. Lol
  9. Its actually a bit chilly right now. 53 at 10:30AM!?
  10. Down to 64 in the house...great natural A/C.
  11. When you need to secure a zip file. :-). Windows does not have umpph to do it. At least it was not the junk 7-Zip.
  12. Nothing to see here except your Ho-Hum basic old, normal Mid June night in the 40's for the LSV. Bradford is getting their frost scrappers ready.
  13. Things I could see that causing changes with are: 1) Less Bread and Milk sales (seriously). 2) Lots of instances of people ignoring a snow forecast especially the first few years of it. 3) More pressure on the NWS Met's to determine if a WSW is needed. 4) What about fog advisorys?
  14. GFS is now practically dry in the LSV for about two weeks. Western LSV is also officially in the first stages of a drought.
  15. Usually a site will load at least partially on any browser so you may have an issue with something specific to the browser or possibly a viral issue. Do you have a decent Antivirus package? Or you can use Malwarebytes free? Also if you mean Edge they do have a new version of Edge out: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge?&OCID=AID2001290_SEM&ef_id=XJY7lwAAFwxo1BME:20200611181554:s
  16. 12Z GFS changed PA from Flood to Fringe. Still not good for NC thhough.
  17. It will make me pipe down about the dying grass.
  18. GFS bullseye is further north. Can almost guarantee you this would cause major flooding.
  19. Brrr...Mid June version, Especially N PA. Will feel great!
