    They are currently going through the 5 steps of grief but at different stages at various rates. Some are actually already at step 5. "3-5 inches isn't that bad" Denial: "This can't be happening to me," a defense mechanism to process overwhelming news. Anger: "Why is this happening to me?" Blaming others or feeling rage. Bargaining: "I'll do anything if this isn't true," making deals with a higher power. Depression: "I'm too sad to do anything," profound sadness and hopelessness. Acceptance: "It's going to be okay," coming to terms with the reality of the loss.

    This will be the light/easy stuff unless sleet/FZ covers. Much more fun and enjoyable. May even be able to partake in a couple while shoveling...

    Call me nuts but I wish this next storm is 100% FZ w/temps around 12-15F/Day. We haven't had a hum dinger of a icing in a while. Besides, I'm sick of snow. That's old news...need some new blood in here. 20F

    With tonight's Lows and receiving 2" tomorrow will look pretty cool out there Monday morning. I still have past frozen junk piles as well. So in essence, leftover street junk lingering plus snow on snow events plus incoming freeze....not bad.

    Yep, that's what I thought. I may have to pinch or punch myself to realize this. Only thing missing would be is a Bird's second round playoff game win at home to cap off a cool memorable weekend...
